I’m a convert!Once my greys started to come in more heavily, I found that I could no longer color my own hair at home in a way that I felt looked natural as greys grew in, but I also didn’t want to start coloring more frequently to make up for the starker line I was seeing. A professional colorist in a salon was able to eventually formulate a color that was subtle enough (that somehow had elements of my natural color and the lightness from the greys) and faded in just the right way, so that I was able to keep my dye frequency as infrequent as I like. Even though I felt the result was absolutely worth it, it was still hard to justify the higher cost (as a lifelong do-it-yourselfer). I tried eSalon completely on a whim, and I almost didn’t upload pictures(thinking ‘no one is actually going to look at the pictures, this is just going to be acpremade color). I am so glad that I did! I cannot believe how close it is to that perfect salon concoction. It looked terrific on day two and looks terrific as it has faded and my grey root growth has come in. Hard to cover gray...I have found that the past few times I've colored my hair, the gray is not covered. I start with the roots first, so it processes longer and let it process for 45 minutes before adding water and rinsing out. Is there another formulation that you could make to help? I have to use a powder root touch-up right after coloring. Also, we are travelling for about 4 weeks and I don't want to have to worry about it every day. So disappointedI have been a customer since 2015 and mostly have loved my hair color. The last 2 shipments have been very disappointing. I follow the instructions to the letter but both times when I go to rinse out my hair color, it feels like my hair is caked with glue. I rinse and rinse and rinse some more to no avail. I use your shampoo and conditioner and my hair still feels gross. I just colored and spent 30 minutes in the shower trying to get the “goo” outta my hair. I ended up putting shampoo in twice because I could not get the water to run clear. When I towel dried it, I still got dark haircolor residue on my towel. It is now dry and feels like there is a slick coating on my hair. So, back to the shower I go. This time I will just use my regular shampoo and pray that the color won’t completely wash away. I am following your instructions exactly as written. What has changed? This hair color used to be perfect for me. So disappointed!! Please advise...😊 232 of 247 people found this review helpful. It was a good first experience.The instructions explained the steps well enough for me to do it as a first timer. The color was a nice hue on its own but there really isn't much change to what my hair looks like. Sometimes I can see the color but it blends in with my natural color, which is kind of good. Crap!My hair products were exploded all over the inside of the box it came init was disgusting and then I couldn't find the right place that I ordered from so I could complain I can't send it back because its leaked and the u.s.post office won't let you mail hazardous materials in the mail. This place sucks big time and my 2nd box which shipped out today because I couldn't cancel fast enough if it comes mailed in a sloppy mess I will let everyone know. 🔊 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
