LOVED my custom color!LOVED the custom color, it’s perfect. The only issue I had was that the liquid was a little runny, but otherwise the kit was perfect. My cheap box store color is definitely no comparison to this kit. However, as I am accustomed to paying $6, $20 is a jump. I utilized the first time user coupon and received my kit for $10. This is the Best!!!I have never had a color rinse out of my hair so fast, easy, and completely. Though I am not sure of the color, I plan to give it a week to see how it ages. The best is if it isn't right, we can adjust it for the next time. I don't have to go for a completely different color. Just adjust this one. 2/6/17 I decided to have the color adjusted a little. As soon as I receive it and try it out I'll add another review. The first color left too much of my hair too light. My colorist added some more of the two tones that were in the original extra copper and extra ash. Hopefully this will tone down the yellow and pink from the first application. It worked. But the nice thing about this color is changing it ever so slightly to make it perfect. Or waiting just a few months for your hair to get long enough to change it even more. The copper was just too much. My hair has gone almost totally white. So to give it some color, so it shows up on my head, I am changing to a lightest ash blonde. It seems to have only a smidge of ash to it and a little pearl to lightest blonde. Will add some more when I put this color in. 1/17/18 I have finally got my color right. My colorist has changed it several times and we have finally gotten it perfect for me. Lightest Ash Blonde is what it is called, but you can't find this color on the shelf. The best grey coverage I’ve hadColour arrived a few days ago, I applied it as directed and found it easy. I love the staingaurd and remover wipe it was so great to not worry about my skin staining. The coverage is great all my grey has gone, this never happens even at the salon. So I’m very happy with that. The colour is really good but a little to much warmth ( gold tones) so I’ve requested a adjustment for my next order. Revised colorI had received the color I had requested, but once I used it, I realized it was a bit too dark. Love! Love! Love!For YEARS (20?) I went to high end salons for color treatments. All the same - stylist evaluates current hair color, plays chemistry in back room, applies new color, I'm out at least $125. So, I thought, why not try ESalon? I always watched the stylist apply my hair color and thought to myself "Why can't I do that too?" What have I got to lose? I completed the questionnaire on my hair and sent them a head shot picture. In a couple of days, a lovely box arrived! It looks like a present! Easy instructions made especially for MOI! Everything I need to apply hair color comes with this kit: 2 Pair of gloves, small color safe shampoo and conditioner, AND something I can't remember ANY stylist doing - applying a stain guard before color! I used to hate it when color got on my face or unwanted areas and they try to wipe it off! Well this kit comes with a STAIN GUARD and STAIN REMOVER so I'm not having to rub so hard to get a stain off. I got in touch with a color specialist a few times to change up my color a bit and they listen and give new instructions when applying new color! I purchased some hair clips, timer and mixing bowl. I could use any plastic bowl, but this one is like the ones used by stylists and its easy to clean. I keep all my color accessories in a zip lock baggie in my bathroom. What's interesting is that since I've started using esalon - I get compliments on my hair color! Really! I never used to get compliments when I paid through the roof.
