The depth and color were just right.I couldn't believe it. I had my hairdresser apply it because I can't do it myself that quickly. She was as impressed with the color as I was and wondered what eSalon might do for her color. I came to eSalon after seeing the advertisement for another site. I went to it and went through their process. The color was not what I wanted but it didn't allow me to make any adjustments. I didn't find the site user-friendly at all. I was happy to send a picture as your site requested because it made sense you'd make a better color if you could see me, and you did. I look forward to seeing how the other products work to maintain the color. I am learning to swim and spending a lot of time in chlorinated water. Great ProductI love the whole line of products. Unfortunately I was looking for eggplant purple highlights but each color had red highlights instead. Customer service was great and each time they reformulated a color to try and give me the highlights I was looking for. The full salon experience in your own bathroomI color my hair maybe once or twice a year, usually when it has changed due to the seasons, faded, become brassy, etc. I baby my hair and don't do too much to it, because I'm trying to grow it out and it's silky and fine. I've been putting off going to the salon for months, because I'm due for a touch up on the purple/blue section of my hair, but with a cut, the processing, etc...it's going to run me about $130, so I've been avoiding it, because I don't exactly have a disposable income. It's the end of summer, and my hair was looking pretty brassy, even a bit red, in some photos I saw. It didn't necessarily look bad, but when you're naturally pale with very dark, thick eyebrows...it wasn't looking 'right'. I happened upon the link to eSalon and decided to at least do the color consult...I was impressed with the evaluation and the full package you get when you sign up the first time...$38 for the color, color gloss, shampoo/conditioner, applicator brush, two sets of gloves, stain protector, AND stain remover? Come ON, that's a deal! Plus, it's demi-permanent, so I don't have to worry I'm murdering my scalp with ammonia. It came beautifully packaged with my name on the label...I'm a sucker for personalization...and I followed the instructions (I'm not a rookie for at-home color); I was impressed with the short amount of time I had to leave it on my hair. A total of 15 minutes? That's fantastic, especially when so many store-bought dyes have to be left on for up to 40 minutes. Who has time for that? The smell is lovely, it went on like a dream (I mentioned having fine hair, so there was WAY TOO much product left over once I was done. I could have accomplished the job with half as much dye and color gloss. But anyway.) I did my blue/purple touch up at the same time, washed and conditioned with my new shampoo/conditioner (also smells great--just like the fussy salon stuff!), blow dried it to check the color and it was glorious!
