Warehouse Manager (Swing Shift)

Do you have supervisory experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment? Are you a strong leader with a positive attitude and solid work ethic? eSalon is open for business and is looking for you, a hands-on experienced manager to join our Warehouse team where we manufacture hair dye and hair care products. We are a workforce comprised of 80% women, and we are seeking a manger for the swing shift in our El Segundo facility with hours from 3:30PM-midnight, Monday-Friday.

Support of all day to day warehouse operations in our manufacturing facility including but not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

Manage a shift of approximately 40 hourly packers and dispensers.
Track and monitor performance including quality and productivity standards.
Manage meals, rest-breaks, and time clock / time cards.
Proactively and clearly communicate with your manager, peers, and direct reports.
Report on KPIs.
Ensure that the production area stays clean and tidy on a regular basis, continuously helping optimize the space.
Provide support for all other production tasks and cleaning/organization of the warehouse facility.
Ensure all stations are getting stocked so employees can complete their job functions.
Audit all packaging procedures including instructions, bottle label, brochures, etc.
Monitor tank fills to ensure the correct amounts are getting put into the tank.
Assist in inventory management in the warehouse.
Regular audits of the warehouse floor to ensure all employees are completing all their tasks.
Help to ensure that the production facility is fully staffed.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

4+ years of consistently working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
4+ years supervising direct reports.
Availability to work from 3:30PM-midnight, Monday - Friday and some Saturdays.
Forklift certification preferred but not required.
Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Detail-Oriented with good Communication Skills
Self-Motivated with a proven record of taking initiative
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Able to execute tasks in an ever-changing environment.
Exercise sound judgment and ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
Must read and write fluently in English.
Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.
