Love this as I have aged my hair needs something more every other time I wash it & this does the trick without being to heavy. That is the thing about this product it works as well as products that r too heavy on my hair without weighing it down. Takes the frizz away, put moisture in my hair & leaves it shiny & body. Love this & the shampoo.

I love this conditioner...I have long hair and Im outside a lot so my hair can get dry. This conditioner is so great I can tell its nourished my hair after one wash. Its really good stuff!

Alterna Caviar shampoo and conditioner are great! They make my hair so soft and shiny, This is probably the best shampoo/conditioner that I have used. I have thin, fine hair and it does not make my hair limp or oily, Can't recommend these products enough - the price is worth it!

This stuff is amazing & makes my fine hair feel healthier, silky & smooth. No flyaways with this. I've seen some complaints about the bottles being stiff & hard to squeeze. So far, not an issue for me. It's a little pricy so I don't use it every day. Save for those times when I really want a "great hair day."

I decided to give this shampoo and conditioner a try after a friend told me she started using anti-aging haircare and that it had done wonders. The shampoo lathers really nicely and the conditioner is awesome - a little goes a long way. It makes my hair really soft and smells good too! I almost didn't buy it after reading some reviews about it being hard to get out, but I'm wondering if people don't realize you have to twist the bottle top in order to squeeze out the product. It is a unique, kind of odd design, but the product comes right out after you unlock it. I'm guessing I'll have to keep it upside down once it gets low.

This conditioner does truly make a difference. I have colored my hair for 30 years plus....so it needs all the TLC it can get. I believe one needs to take care of what we have (thin as mine is) so we can be proud of how we look.

Love this conditioner. I wish I didn’t! I received a free sample with my color kit. One use and I was hooked. It’s a splurge. I usually would never spend this much. I use it sparingly. The results are undeniable! TRULY WISH THEY WEREN’T 😉

The arthritis in my hands and right wrist tear make these bottles very difficult to use. An alternate twist on/off top or easy squeeze tube would have been much more usable for me to use both the shampoo and conditioner. The products are really quite nice though.

I love this conditioner and use it 1-2 weekly since it isn’t heavy feeling. The cap is a little funky at first but I realized it is meant to stay on the bottle and you just twist it open and the twist it closed.

Love this shampoo for volume, however daily use will sometimes cause an itchy head…. Otherwise I love it. I recommend rotating with other shampoo every few shampoo times. It is also a good shampoo for shine and it has a great smell.

This stuff is pure amazing and I love it but like I said about the shampoo it’s not enough product for the price 38 dolllars is one of those things where I’d only treat myself once a year on this. I gave the conditioner 4 stars because when I got it, it was opened and a lot of product was wasted and all over everything. Esalon is sending me a replacement though.

Hi There: Priced pretty high for the size bottle. I do like it so far. Have only used it twice. I do not like the open and close feature....difficult.

Basically just got the product and have only used for a week. Hair is shiny and managable. Trying it to see if it helps my color stay on better. So far have not seen much difference in helping to keep color. Very expensive if it can't help in this area.

Love the color kit I receive from esalon. Just started trying the caviar products but the conditioner is great. Unfortunately ordered the wrong shampoo, so I will not be able to review this product. Loving the rest!

My hair was pretty soft after using it. Not any more so than some other products at lower price points though. I also find the smell of this oddly offensive and I am not usually that particular. All in all, there are many other conditioners out that at a better price point that give better results and smell better.

I've used dozens of drugstore and salon shampoo and conditioner brands over the years and have never had an allergic reaction. After using this conditioner my eyes and face felt itchy for a whole day. Took a break from it, tried it again - same thing. Suspect it is whatever is used to scent this product. If you're sensitive to unnecessarily strong scents in beauty products, beware.

As I reviewed in the shampoo section this product is not worth the money. After rinsing the shampoo and which leaves my hair dry and brittle straw like hair. This conditioner leaves my hair frizzy and unmanageable. Not sure what happened to the original product but this shampoo and conditioner is horrible.

I have arthritis and I can't for the life of me get the product out of the bottle. I can't squeeze it hard enough. Hopefully the bottle will be reconfigured. I don't like the smell of it either. I do like how it makes my hair feel.

After a month of using shampoo and Conditioner I was not impressed. Hair was not soft after rinsing out and I couldn’t even run my hands through my hair. Was not pleased. Sorry I usually love your products jut not this one

Order it for the first time. I figured need to do some extra care for my hair. Usually have no issues with greasy hair but this conditioner and shampoo totally threw my hair out of balance. Greasy at the top and dry as hay at the tips. Wish I would return it.

I have used Alterna Conditione for about three weeks now. I do not care for it. I do not like the feel of my hair while using it. My hair does not feel silky and clean. It does nothing to enhance my color or make styling better. I will keep trying other shampoo and conditioning products from ESalon until I find the right one for me.

What's with the bottle? Impossible to squeeze hard enough with wet hands in the shower. Arnold Schwarzenegger would have a difficult time. The product feels oily no matter how much rinsing. Not a fan.

Bottle is almost impossible to use

The conditioner is good. The bottle is almost impossible to use. I literally have to step on it with my foot and catch what comes out with my hand near the floor, in order to get anything out of it. It is a really bad, counter-productive design - in addition to the bottle being too rigid to squeeze with a strong but arthritic hand, the fact that air (supposedly) enters - through the same hole that the conditioner is emitted through - means that a partial vacuum is being created inside the bottle, which makes it even more difficult to get the conditioner out.

Smells like a chemistry lab. Awful smell and nothing special. Use Suave conditioner and avoid this horrible smelling stuff that doesn’t do anything different than bargain priced conditioner.

Could not get the dispenser to twist open. Had to get something to put under the bottle cap to force it loose. On the other hand....conditioner is very nice. It is quite thick if you like your conditioner this way.
I may have had a defective bottle! But reading other reviews, some people did have issues with opening the cap.

The conditioner is great. The bottle is too hard and the cover design is awful. As in the review I gave about the shampoo the only way of getting it out is by squeezing from the counter. Conditioner is thinner than the shampoo so it came out way to fast Had to waste the extra conditioner. PLEASE change the design The cost of the shampoo and conditioner is was too expensive to waste
