Not greasy, just soft and shiny

I used this for the first time last night. I realized as I was in the shower that I had no conditioner left. Ugh. My hair is very thick and is usually a knotted mess without conditioner. So, after the shower, I used this, hoping it would compensate, and my hair came out soft, shiny, but still full-bodied and bouncy - not at all greasy.

I DO enjoy this product a lot - and use it nearly every day. One thing, however, is you CAN use too much (then hair gets a greasy slick look). Just a very small amount scrunched through hair with your fingers will do it - smoothes fly aways and moisturizes ends...

I like this product, it restores nutrients to my hair and it looks healthy and shiny. Use sparingly or it tends to weigh down my hair and appear greasy. Also if I use too much the fragrance is a little bothersome to me.

I love everything about ESalon's hair color! But this, has lots of room for improvement. As a gloss it's so-so, it has very little fragrance, and it's not something I will reorder.

if you only use a small amount, you can't notice that you've used anything at all. If you use more, then it only leaves the hair greasy, even on wet or damp hair. Not a good product and would not recommend.

One thing I dislike about many hair products, their scent is just too strong. I sadly got a migraine after using this. I'm not sure what's in it, but even my wife said the product was too much. I think when I moved, I just ended up tossing it since neither of us could use it.

When I open the package, the oil is everywhere in side the bag. The base cardboard is completely soaked with the oil. The shampoo packed together is also covered with oil. The leakage is not coming from the pump, it’s from the bottom of the bottle.

Not the worst,, but not the best. I don’t notice much of a difference when I use this product. My hair is still quite frizzy and I find I have to use quite a bit of product to even notice a slight difference. I wouldn’t buy it again.

I've tried this and a couple other E Salon products to reduce frizz. I don't see any real improvement from this product, and my hair drinks this stuff up so I end up using a lot more than recommended - and it's a small bottle!

I haven’t used this much so I can’t really add much to this review but it did seem to add some shine but also made my hair a little sticky, and I felt like it needed to be shampooed pretty quickly after I used it once!!

This definitely helps with shine, but with my very fine hair it leaves it a little greasy feeling. During the winter I got some extra static too.

My hair is very thin difficult grey covered hair. I would have to put more on to defrizz and then it would be too caked on if I used more product. It did make my hair feel softer. I’ll keep trying it. Maybe my hair is so far gone it needs to get used to product.

Why the instructions on this bottle are light pink in a tiny font on an orange bottle I do not understand. I have not been able to use it because the instructions are not legible. A product should be easy and a joy to use, not a frustrating test of patience.

This is just meh. I have been using CHI Silk Infusion for years, and thought this may be a cheaper alternative. I’m underwhelmed to say the least, and I continue on with the Silk Infusion. I guess if it’s not broken, don’t fix it.

This product either didn't work at all if I put a tiny bit, or made my hair greasy if I used a little more to try to put some shine. It actually seemed to make my hair either more fly away and frizzy, or limp and gross. Definitely do not recommend for naturally curly, fine hair.

Hair stays smart and shiny. Only reason not attaching picture is hair really needs a shape and goes a little wild unless go for a walk with hat on to take it.

Damaged packaging

It arrived with the lid slightly ajar. This caused 3/4 of the product to spill out into the package. I haven’t used it because it’s a mess.

Basically, this is the same stuff that you can get at CVS, but at a much higher price. It is just a taming oil. Nothing special.

This product does nothing for my hair in fact it makes it frizzier. I also ordered one only and took it off my next month order but I got it again! I emailed eSalon and they have done nothing ... I’m done w eSalon and will go elsewhere! Too bad, I really liked the color but if they cannot reimburse me directly to my bank account instead they want to keep it in their account for me to use it with their products. NO! I’m done ! Goodbye eSalon!
