This product is not covering the grays very well. I have to use a lot of it and then it’s sticky. Also the spray is to fast to come out

Liked how it covered the roots on top of my head, but when doing the sides where my Gray is more visible, it was very hard. My skin kept getting colored and the gray was not covered very well. Will not re order

As with all camouflage products the texture of the hair becomes rigid and dull.
This product no different. The coverage and color blend well, but you have to use a lot.

I was really disappointed. I've used drug store products and they are silky. This left my roots feeling like I had used a very strong hairspray. I had problems brushing hair and running fingers through, my roots felt tangled. I have long hair and only sprayed my roots, it did seem to take a lot of product to cover my gray, so maybe that's why I had this problem. Washed hair next day and used different cover up, threw the rest of this product away.

I purchased this as it was double the amount and half the cost of a more select brand I normally buy. However, I ended up having to use twice as much of this for the same coverage. It left my hair kind of stiff & sticky, which maybe is typical of all spray-on color? It also easily wipes off, which means it comes off on my pillowcase.

I am not a fan, I was hoping this would be exactly what I needed for the in-between color for some of the grays, I tried it and it had such a weird feeling on my hair I felt like it was dirty, So I took this out of my shipments.

Spray didn't have enough directions. I used way too much spray and really didn't need to. Went through can too quickly. But when I figured out how to use it worked well. But by then the spray was empty

This spray is way too strong but the color itself is fine. Perhaps others don’t mind how it sprays but I feel like it’s attacking me and it gets in the air so I hold my breath while using it so I don’t breath it in.

The spray leaves too much of an unnatural look and looks more like paint. I have used other sprays that attach better and look less dull and paint like. Otherwise, it covers for about 24 hours.

if you've got oily hair, beware. You're going to get exceptional coverage with this product, but the coverage is at a filmy cost. Hair at the roots feels grimy with this product. Great if you want a look, bad if you want to touch it.

This looks almost black on my brown hair. I use dark brown dye so I thought this would work and I have a lot of greys so I’d love to be able to use it. It smells nice and it’s not too chunky like the Bumble and Bumble spray -but the coverage isn’t awesome either so maybe that’s why. I try to not use too much because I don’t want black roots...

If you get caught in a little bit of rain, or sweat at all, this stuff runs down your face. I've had it bleeding into my forehead in humid weather. Terrible!

This camo mist was a wonderful color and matched nicely but it leaves stains on everything. It rubs off, on my pillowcases and anything my hair comes in contact with. I was disappointed.

I have used a few different root cover sprays and I was excited to try this one because I usually love ESalon products. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark for me. When I first sprayed it on, it came out in one very noticeable blotch at my part. I shook the can and tried again, but it does not spray out evenly. It is a dark, muddy color and does not blend well with the rest of my hair. It looked like I had dark spots at the top of my head. I was disappointed.

I prefer my hair to feel clean, even on its worst days, a clean feel is better than no grays showing. This product is like spray paint. Just not for me with the way it made my hair feel oily and left me trying to remove dark spots from my scalp.

It is great for a temporary cover of roots so gray doesn’t show between treatments. It however, runs in the summer heat if a person perspires. Once the weather is cool again, it will be good to use between colorings.

This Brand requires more product to get coverage. Since I had to keep applying more and more product, my hair was wet before it actually covered the new growth at my part. I felt it made my hair look a little greasy/dirty. I like Style Edit much better. I wont buy this again.

I like this product but I do not like how it dispenses. I have very short hair with most of my gray hair at my temples. I wish this ptoduct had an attachment for the nozzle that would allow me to control the amount and area where it sprays.

They change my hair color. No longer matches no longer any good. Probably would have been good if I had the correct hair color provided.

This is a spray for covering roots as they come in. It's a bit dark, for being a "dark blonde" but it gets the job done.

Not a fan. I feel like I’m spraying at weird angles to get the coverage I wanted. Felt sticky because I needed so much & that I needed to wash my hair. To me it was not worth the hassle.

Drug Store Brand is Better

I've used a popular drug store brand in the teal can in the past, prior to trying this one out. Unfortunately, eSalon really struck out with their version. First off, the can doesn't last very long because there's not much in there. But the biggest problem is the spray: it comes out really hard and fast, so it's difficult to control. It spits droplets everywhere. I thought maybe that was because I was pressing too lightly, but it doesn't seem to matter how hard I press. I always end of with a mess of spots all over my face, neck, my hand, the countertop, and the can itself. Trust me, this is incredibly frustrating if you wait to do this as the last step in the morning, after you've just finished with your makeup. It's pretty hard to get the color off your face. And, the color is so thick, I end up with a really dark scalp at my temples and hairline, where the hair is thinner. It just looks odd. I reordered it a couple of times, hoping that I had just gotten a couple of bad cans, but it's been the same every time. The color transfers pretty badly to other things, like the your hands, pillowcase and headphones, and I find that gross and annoying. I had to give up on this product. I'll go back to the drug store if I really want a spray option.

The color recommended to me was way too light. The spray appeared more gray against my brunette hair than the gray I was trying to cover.

I am used to using my old spray so when I saw this I said let me just buy n see how it is I didn’t like it at all I felt like I had to spray so much on my roots and my hair felt very Sticky

I tried using on my roots but did not color. I shook very hard but to no avail. Did not work, what came out was a clear color. Maybe defective.

For something like this, I would've expected it to match somewhat to what my color is with esalon (a pretty bright red) but this was more like dark brown with the slightest hint of red. Nothing like spraying my dark roots with more dark color! On top of that, it's very hard to not get it on your hands and skin and it's hard to wash off. Not sure I really would have liked it even if the color was remotely close.

I really wanted to love this but ... The nozzle is a direct spray which I guess can be helpful but it makes it difficult to not end up with a super dark patch in areas. I wish the nozzle would be a little more misty so that it doesn’t come out so concentrated. Also the color is really dark but I found when I comb through it, it blends better. Love that it doesn’t leave hair feeling stiff like other sprays.

This isn’t worth the money. It stains your skin and never drys! So if you touch your hair you will have black stains everywhere. And if you spray it on your hairline you will have stains on your forehead. Need some type of guard to protect your skin from the black stains! I do not like this product at all.

It is not easy to use. Sprays heavy and it can look too obvious.

I didn't care for this as it seemed messy and rubbed off even after dry unless I'm doing something wrong. Also, it seemed it wears off quick even though it's a temporary fix.
