It took a few dyes to completely cover my old crappy box-dye red color but even from the first time I used esalon I have had waiters, people on the street, coworkers, and old friends tell me how much they love this color. It's perfect for my skin tone and it doesn't bleed on towels or sheets like many red dyes do. It's beautiful and seems to keep my hair healthier than others.
I have used hair color for years but found I was having to color more frequently as my gray roots did not seem to absorb the color well. So, I took a chance on this product. I was skeptical that the color would be right (it was!) or that the product would cover better (it does!). It has now been 3 weeks since my first color experience and I don't have to touch up yet!! I am very pleased!
I am new to hair color till I looked in mirror I looked as old as my mother. This is the 3rd time I colored my hair. One turned orange and one covered my gray for 2days. (I kid you not) I love Escalon. My gray is covered perfectly and my hair is so soft. Even the color is right. It's worth the money and no worries.
Exactly what I wanted! No way I could have achieved the mixture of color from a box! Anyone who knows me knows I want to be a red head and everytime I've tried with a box color I'm always an orange head. With the color from esalon I have the perfect mixture of red and brown. Love love love it. Never a box for me again!

I have been so pleased with the eSalon hair color. It gives wonderful "highlights ", great gray coverage, and stays vibrant between hair colorings. The colorists have been very helpful in helping me find just the right color and are always so pleasant to work with.
As someone who lives in a remote location, finding my right color in stock was always an issue. Or the company changed the color a little. With eSalon, its perfect every time, it arrives on time and I don't have to worry about anything. On top of that, one time the product got lost in the mail. This hair color is great, aside from the diversity of tones and the very custom experience that is being able to request advice about your color, after each application my hair turns out very shiny and smooth! this has never happened with other self - applied dyes! very happy with it, I can't even think of going back to supermarket hair colouring!
Application was simple and not messy. Gray coverage was good and didn't turn brassy. The color match was spot on. I highly recommend especially at the price point.
Color is so pretty. I went a little darker than usual but I really liked it. As it washes out it changes to more my color so I almost feel like I'm wearing a different color every few weeks.
I've come back to eSalon after a longish break during which I've had my hair highlighted and coloured at my usual salon. My favourite hairdresser was actually reluctant to touch my colour (thank you, eSalon!) as she said it was perfect for me! So I came back to eSalon and am really so pleased I did. I still can't believe that a home colour can produce such beautiful salon results.

I have died my hair red since I was in high school. It has always been difficult to find a stylist I trust who can get the red-brown tint I sought after without it looking super fake. I'm always paranoid it will go wrong, because it has before! Not to mention, every visit to the salon is a lot of money. I am so impressed with the results I got with the Medium Brown Red Copper. I think it's lovely. My friends have asked me for a referral to eSalon because they love the color too! But I am glad I did a strand test first to make sure the color was a good match for me.
This hair color has great coverage and lasts longer than any of the other hair color I have tried, including dyes used by hair dressers. It's great and I keep changing the length of time until my next coloring; making it longer. It also wasn't damaging to my fine curly hair. Very happy!
It took me less than 30 minutes and was very easy. I loved the result because it left some of the grey as highlights so the before and after difference wasn't so stark. That's what I was going for.

Amazing how my eSalon colorist knew just what to do with my color from the photo I provided! I must admit, I was a bit nervous when I read the color name for the first time! But after diving in and giving it a try, I have had so many compliments on how flattering it is! Thank you eSalon!!
I chose a color, and they wouldn't let me have it! That may sound like I would be mad, but it actually showed me that they care! They were not willing to "just make a sell". They were concerned that it wasn't right for me and my hair type! We worked together, and ended up with something great! The instructions were great too! I would definitely recommend their services! I got exactly what I ordered! The different highlights were awesome! Exactly what they said it would be. Easy instructions to follow also. It came out awesome! I loved it. I love that they ask about it & change things you want changed. Can't ask for anything better than that!
This color is worth EVERY penny. It may be a bit more than drugstore colors but if you want to avoid an expensive salon trip and get amazing color with awesome staying power, this is your color. The money you save on buying color more frequently and paying the stylist makes this color extremely affordable. I have some hard to color grays, my hair is thick and coarse and only salon color has ever done the job, until now. After 12 weeks I am just now starting to show any gray and its very tiny amounts and sparse. This color is true to life, rich and full. It was super easy to apply. I couldn't be happier.
I came back! This is the product that brings the absolute best results for my hair. Worth every penny. Shine, solid coloring for my roots and leaves my hair lush and shiny. E-salon provides good coverage, even on resistant grays. The color is darker than I like but with tweaking I think we'll get it right. It's hard to pick the exact color you want using computer swatches. I like the ease of auto shop also.
First time trying e-salon and loved the results. I have tried every hair dye out there and nothing covered my greys. I was doing my roots every week, I kid you not. With e-salon I do them every 8 weeks. That's a no brainer. I'm also getting lots of compliments on the colour and condition of my hair. My confidence has sky rocketed. I can wear my hair down without worrying about showing grey bits. Love it. X

This is such a great hair color!! It keeps my hair soft and it the color smells good after I wash it unlike all hair dyes I have used in the past. My husband used to complain of the smell of the dyes I used, but this one doesn't bother him at all. I was one to buy hair dye from the grocery store trying to save money instead of going to salons since I have to color every 3-4 weeks. I won't go back to that idea anymore since Esalon dye is awesome!! High quality dye that stays in very well!! I am very happy I have tried this and the auto shipment has been very nice to receive in the mail. I like how they will adjust the color anytime you would like to also.
I wouldn't use anything else! Best colour system ever!

This is the best colouring system I've ever experienced. The coverage and personalization is the best. The shampoo and conditioner used after the colouring treatment is wonderful as well! My hair doesn't smell like it just got coloured and it is super soft and shiny...I have naturally coarse hair but e-salon changed that for me! I get many, many compliments!
I have been coloring my hair with a brand box hair color for years and the problem I always have is the color would never be the shade that I wanted. With eSalon it was perfect!!, I know that may sound crazy but really it was the perfect color the FIRST time!! So happy!!
I have used Natural Instincts hair color for 20 years I thought I would never find another hair dye, I would like as much. I tried Esalon and I will never change my hair preference again. It is a great colour overall. After the first try I had the colour worked on for better grey coverage and it works well now. My hair is very shiny and I haven't noticed any chemical damage so I'd have to say I'm a happy camper. Just the grey thing is why I'm giving four out of five.

Just used my esalon hair color for the first time. Color was great and the gray coverage was as good or better than salon dyes. I used to color my own hair with drug store hair coloring, but the roots never came out well, so I started going back to the salon. No more! I'm happy to color my own hair on my schedule, and it doesn't take as long as a salon coloring.
Custom Hair Color really is made for me! At first I was very skeptical! I had 3 boxes at home before my friend colored my hair for me and then when I was ready for the second, it was so easy and I think I did a better job than my friend!!!! It's really that easy and definitely a 1, 2, 3 and you're done! No waiting for 3 hours at the hair salon and I save more than 60.00. I really am hooked!!! Thanks again eSalon. I love this product. I've been looking for a gorgeous color with copper tones that looks natural on me. The color doesn't fade like box color and leaves my hair shiny and in good condition!
I love my custom color, it looks almost black indoors and a beautiful violet outdoors. My hair is also very shiny and healthy looking. I have received multiple complements about my new hair color.
I've dyed my hair for close to 15 years now. I never knew there was a noticeable difference in store bought dye. Well let me tell you, there is! The first time I tried eSalon was like magic. I chose the color I want and you can add to the color like red or blonde. When I saw my hair dry after dying my hair, it looked like I had been to a salon. There is such a difference to store bought. I will never go back to store bought hair dye. And eSalon is not expensive at all! It's cheaper than going to a salon and spending 100 dollars. I love what this does to my hair! Thank you eSalon!
Everyone tells me they love my color, then they ask me who does it! They can't believe it when I say "I did it"! Needed a trim and the stylist asked me who does my color, when I told her, she said "are they trying to put us out of business"! Then she said I'm doing a great job and the color is perfect!
i am so happy with your product , i usually just use boxed dye from the drugstore but i will never go back to it,i did like the colour but wanted to change it a bit and contacted your customer service and they helped me out with a new coulour and i was so impressed with the service ,i would highly recommened to anyone to use e-salon ty for everything and i cannot wait until my next shipment . linda b

Thank you for putting together a nice color. It was not that harsh black , but had hints of auburn as well with a nice soft black, It worked out great! My hair was also very smooth and shiny.
I always have people ask me who is my colorist and they are always shocked when i tell them I do it my self with a custom blended color from esalon. Makes me happy to have such great color and spend a fraction of what other people spend.
Absolutely vibrant beautiful colors. It is a completely different experience than traditional hair color. I use a dark color over my natural blonde and the deposit color leaves my hair happy and healthy. 💗💗💗💗

I just used my esalon color for the first time and its fabulous. Totally covered my grey and it looks natural and beautiful. My hair color looks professionally done. So happy! I was so over the boxed color and was going to go back to salon but dreaded the time and cost! This is awesome. Hope that my second color goes as well.
I'd been coloring my hair myself for over a year before trying this product. I'm now receiving compliments on the color, that I wasn't before. The color covered really well and still looks great a month later.
I am on my 9th order and the color quality is great..... I was having to go to the salon every 3 weeks because my hair grows so fast. Getting my color from eSalon has changed all that. I now do a touch up every 3 weeks and an all over every 6 weeks and I believe the color is BETTER than what my hairdresser was doing. How do I know, I get compliments ALL the time. NO ONE ever seems my roots because I can choose when I color my hair and not have to wait for an appointment. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER.
I have red hair and have always had to find someone with a beauticians license to be able to purchase quality hair color and now I don't. You matched my color perfectly and its easy to do myself and it looks great every time. I just signed up for highlight color can't wait to add for the summer months.
I've been doing my own color for a long time and never been this happy with a product. I got just enough red blended with my brown for my custom color. The product is easy to mix and apply from the bottle. A great shampoo and conditioner are included, along with gloves, AND product to prevent and remove color from your skin. Pretty darn awesome. I plan to be a customer for a long time.
My color was excellent! I'm not able to afford salon coloring right now but this is the next best thing. I have mostly gray hair that I have been having professionally colored for several years(did the box color from the drug store before that) and this comes very very close to what my most recent and excellent colorist has been doing for me.
