I've been coloring my roots since I was in my early 30's... A decade later, I've now tried it all. My hair grows super fast & gets really dry by all the chemicals (& having it done by someone else is way too expensive)! But eSalon color is the best out there, it's easy, very affordable, & doesn't dry my hair out like other brands. I highly recommend it!!! (Thank you eSalon for my custom blended color & support when needed!)
It feels special to think something is created just for me. The directions are easy and complete. They even send a little tab to hang up the directions while working. And the results...a warm, rich, full head of wonderful hair.
I loved this color. The first time i ordered the color came out too dark which is what I am trying to get away from. My color consultant adjusted the color for my next order and this time it was perfect. Waiting to see how the gray coverage holds up. So far it is good.

I'm not one to ever toot any products but this is the exception. I have tried every brand of hair dye at the drug stores attempting to reduce my $130. Salon treatment every 5 weeks and I was getting ready to give up and go back to the salon and saw e salons ad on FB. Thought one more time, after all it was $10. And the 3 hours I don't have to spend in a salon chair. A fabulous hair kit arrived quickly with more than enough finally to do long hair. The results astounded me with how easy it was to use and the color and coverage it provided. I even posted a pic on FB, so not me. I have told every woman I know about this product and recommended it. So in other words I love, love love this product.
I have to admit I wasn't anticipating a lot. Boy was I wrong, my colorist chose a different color than what I thought. The color is dimensional and soft and the SHINE is fabulous. Definitely will be a customer.....Thank you!
Even the gal who cuts my hair wants to know who does my color! I told her it was eSalon and she was really amazed!!! I am so happy I found this product. The root cover, leave-in conditioner, shiny armor and of course the shampoo and conditioner are all really really good products. BRAVO!
The color is beautiful. I have had so many compliments on my hair since I colored it. The color came out a warm strawberry blonde. It is a perfect match to what I wanted.
I've used this product for 6 months now and am very pleased. The quality of product is very high, salon quality. My hair and scalp can really tell. The color lasts, and I always get compliments on my color after a dye. I love the step by step instructions and everything you need is included in the kit. A great deal for the price. The initial intake is thorough, as if you were doing it in person. It's easy to leave feedback for minor tweaks in color. One star off because we are still working to get my color right after 4 applications. I'm asking for a slightly more bold option, and I think they are just being conservative and going slow with the transition. I can respect that.

I'm 60 years old this is the best hair color product I have ever used out beats the salons 100%. The gray coverage is awesome couldn't ask for a better product a must try you'll never go back. After spending anywhere from $80-$120 every 4 to 5 weeks to find this product at the cost is unbelievable thank you eSalon
I am happy with my color. I had a little trouble coloring my roots. I had a place in the front that the color didn't cover the grey. I colored it first so I'm now real sure what happened. I'll keep trying.

I have been having trouble with boxed hair color. I had been using a black violet color and after 2 days had a brown red head of hair. This color is exactly what I wanted, and the color has lasted. My hair looks and feels great.
I randomly came across eSalon on FB and I'm sooooo glad I did. I have short blonde hair starting to go grey and my experience with eSalon color has been amazing for a year now! The kit is fantastic and I do it myself every month. Don't buy store bought anymore. Just follow all the steps to start up with a picture of your hair and if you don't like the first color they send you it's very easy to adjust. That's what I did Andi I love it!!!!! I wasn't sure about the color when I first picked it out. When I got I couldn't wait to try it. It came out great and I really liked the color. All my friends and coworkers said that they really liked it. Said it really looked good on me.

Love this hair colour system and have a far nicer colour and finish than any salon hair colour appointment has ever achieved at a fraction of the price.
The only reason for the four stars rather than the five, is I found it rather complicated to divide hair in a way that enabled me to apply only to roots, prior to the lengths of my hair. For anyone who isn't naturally able in these areas, I think it is advisable to have a friend help you out!

I love the fact that I really got a hand in what I picked out. Going for original, any changes to picking my new color. My first box was frozen because of where I live. The customer service rep sent me a new box. I was going on vacation in 2 days so they sent it to where I was going. I also did not have to worry about changing my address back to my home address it was already done. I wanted a little adjustment and it was done. Can't believe how easy this is. I love my new more natural color. I just used my order tonight and I love it, soft hair, natural color, all grays gone!!!!!!!!! I was nervous when I started the process tonight, but I just followed the simple instructions and took my time. I feel and look like I just came from the salon, but I did it all in comfort of my own home. I will never use store bought hair color again. This is simply the best ever. I'm so excited. Again this is the first product I have found to cover all my gray hairs. Next time I will remember to take a before and after picture.

I am beyond thrilled with my results! Let me first share, that I am extremely particular about quality. I have long, mid- back length and very thick deep brunette hair with interwoven red/ mahogany undertones. (With intense and stubborn gray regrowth EVERY two weeks).
I really budgeted to visit my colorist once every six weeks. I was STILL spending a small fortune with over $140.00 every visit. (She used Goldwell color (an excellent color line that originated from Germany that has exceptional depth; especially for dark brunettes/ red pigments).
My sister recommended that I try e-Salon. I have to admit, I was very hesitant. Well....long story short, my only regret is that I waited SO long (and spent way too much money at the salon)!
My results are AMAZING! Because my "emotional identity" is so interwoven in my hair, (yes, I realize to some this may sound superficial; and to a certain level it is, I know. Although, it is very true of me and for those of you who also may identify with this, I want to be completely transparent).
I called the e-Salon for guidance and uploaded pictures of my current color and spoke in length with Color Expert, Courtney, who provided me with the perfect match. Since, complete strangers have asked me who my "amazing colorist" is. I tell them.
Sorry for such a long review, I honestly never expected such wonderful results and this has, literally changed my life with affordability, convenience (delivered right to my doorstep), and 100% satisfaction. (I shudder as I recall the many times I had to return to the salon when my color came out too dark, the gray was not covered, etc. - and although, I was eventually happy with the result; the amount of time, scheduling, "extra" tip to the colorist for fitting me in, etc.) is all gone.
Please give e-Salon a try for yourself. You (and your hair) will be glad you did.

I have been coloring my hair for 30 years because I had premature gray even as a child. Now that I am approaching 50, the colors I usually buy over the counter or even those I tried through special beauty product stores will NOT cover the gray of my roots. I was really frustrated so when I saw an ad for E-salon, I tried it. The process of choosing my color and telling the team exactly what I wanted in a hair color is perfect! They tailor made the color to suit what I needed. The packaging and instructions and coloring tools are quality, so much nicer than anything I have ever bought at a store. The team also communicates well and allows you to make any changes you desire between colorings. They make it so easy! I can't say enough positive things about this product and company! You must try this at home product. One application is all you need to become a esalon customer like me for life.. I have received more compliments since I used esalon hair color. I love it. I have tried many brands both drug store and beauty supply but this is the best. I must say even with hair salon color this is still the best and closest to the color I have wanted for a long time. Easy and convenient. All I did was tell them in a note what end result I wanted and I got it! Spot on. You must try it at least once. I have a friend who did. Only down side is I forgot to get her connected to me!
The color was a perfect match - better than what my hairdresser uses. Very easy application and has everything needed in box. Will definitely be using - especially with all the money I'm saving by doing it myself.
With so many new products coming out all the time you just don't know what's good, what will really work or what's worth the money. I'm SO GLAD I tried eSalon. It is the only product I've ever used, including salon coloring, that has fully colored my hard to color grey. It's the only product I've ever used that two days later those hard to color grey's aren't already back. I LOVE my new hair color and the personalized service I received was excellent. I've finally found the shade of red I've been looking for. One of the best things about this hair color is that it doesn't leave a chemical smell to your hair after dying it. I always hated that smell from other at home dyes. It also evenly covered the small patch of gray hairs I had starting to come in, yay! Other dyes would end up leaving those hairs an almost pink shade instead of dying them the same as the rest of my hair. I love that it came with such helpful tips such as using the any of the left over dye in the shower before you rinse. The fact that it came with stain guard and stain remover is a huge bonus, I always make a mess. So happy with the product and service! Definitely a happy customer! Recommending to my friends for sure!

I colored my hair 5 weeks ago and my color still looks so good!!👌🏼
I love this color. It is easy to apply, doesn't drip, and the color lasts. It has been between 3 - 4 weeks since I colored and there has been no fading nor do I have any roots showing. The kit itself is amazing too. The application brush, 2 pairs of gloves that are quite sturdy, plenty of color relative to my hair length. I will continue to use this product. It is the perfect fit between drugstore color and salon color.
I was afraid to change my old hair color that I have had for a very long time.
With the help of my colorist Shannon S. at eSalon I received the perfect color.
I always go to an expensive salon for my haircut but ALWAYS use eSalon for my color. Whenever you have any questions they come to the rescue. Don't be afraid to give eSalon a try.

I like that this comes with everything you need to color your hair at home. And the color they made for me is the perfect shade! I think this should be a little closer in price to drugstore brands - seeing as it is the same basic materials that normally cost around $8-$10. I would order it a lot more often if it was more affordable ($12-$15?).
My colorist, Brittany A. Has worked with me to find the perfect color for my hair. The color is gorgeous and I frequently get compliments from others on the shade. Being over 50 and red hair is a delicate balance that my colorist achieved giving me a natural looking color. People are shocked that this isn't the color I had as a child. I absolutely love it I probably could have left it longer on my ends because it doesn't look as dark but I was nervous that it was sitting too long on my roots so I took it out a little earlier but I truly love the all over coverage I will definitely keep my subscription 😊❤️

I have made one adjustment to the color in the two years I've been using eSalon and it's just right. Friends comment on the nice color and shine of my hair. The products you send to use before and after coloring are much appreciated including TWO pairs of gloves.
The hair color is a perfect match to my younger days! I have a lot of blonde and gray around my face which washes me out. This color, made just for me, makes my hair color look very natural and really brightens my face and eyes! I love my colorist, she is the best! I have had so many compliments on my color!
I love the fact that the color covers the areas that
would have been showing the gray around the brow and all!
I have had so many horrible experiences in professional salons. Usually, professional colorists turn my hair "ash blonde" who wants GRAY hair?? (and for hundreds of $$!) The eSalon colorist followed my information perfectly and the color matches my specifications better than any salon professional I have experienced and better than the home kits I have tried. The 19.95 price is very reasonable. In the past I always had to buy 2 or 3 home kits for at least $8.00 each to mix to make the color I wanted. ESalon saves me money and time and the color looks and feels better than my previous process. I am getting salon like results for a fraction of the price in the comfort of my own home.
