I love this hair color. It covered my gray so much better than store bought hair color and it has been 3 weeks and I am just starting to see some gray at the roots! Looks so much more natural than other brands I have used! Have had many compliments!

I have been using this product for several years. The color is exactly the same every time! Touch up my grays--it looks the same! Recolor the whole mess, it's great! The instructions are easy to follow. My friends that go to an expensive salon for the same thing, don't always get the same color mix. Thank you esalon

So this is the second time I’ve used eSalon, I must say it’s amazing! My hair doesn’t smell like hair dye and it looks salon quality and I did it all this morning before my kids woke up! As a mom I don’t have the time to sit in a salon chair for three hours and spend $200 to get it done! This is the best! I don’t think I’ll ever have to go back to a salon for coloring again!

I’ve been using esalon for a couple years now and I’m hooked. I have to color my roots every 4 weeks, and this is the only at home color that continues to shine and doesn’t damage my hair. Other “box” hair color always ended up looking different each time, same color with different final results. Not with esalon! Color remains consistent and vibrant and leaves my hair feeling healthy.
I’m a fan and customer for life!!

I do my roots and then finger comb ( with gloves) through all during the last few minutes to blend it all. Great gray coverage and I don't have that "just colored" look. Stylist are very responsive to adjustment requests. Very happy with this product and all the contents in the package

The color is TRUE, no fading, no surprises, just the deep, perfect color you asked for.

So I tried this color after seeing the promo offer. I figured, for $20 I can try something new since that's about what I spend on drugstore hair color. The box arrived quickly and much to my delight, contained TWO bottles of color and processor. I usually have to buy extra because I have long, thick hair. It also had two different colors, which I learned is because roots need different treatment than ends (never knew that!). The process was simple and the directions were very clear. The kit has some cute extras, like a coloring brush, stain guard and stain remover in addition to the usual gloves, shampoo and conditioning treatment. I had already used petroleum jelly around my hairline to protect against staining so I'll save the one in the box for next time! The process was nearly identical to store brands. The chemical smell was definitely harsher, it smelled like a salon, but it wasn't impossible to deal with. The only difference I noticed was in removing the color- it didn't rinse easily at all! At first I thought I was in trouble because I left it in longer than the directions, and I got SUPER nervous when the shampoo from the kit didn't seem to work. My hair was like glue until I used a huge squirt of my own color-guard shampoo. Maybe because I have so much hair, but it was a relief when the normal texture of my hair returned! Conditioning treatment was excellent- no need for extra. And the result? SPECTACULAR! My midnight black is super shiny, soft, even and gorgeous! Not a single grey peeping through! Highly recommended, salon quality results!!

The product is easy to use, simple clear and precise instructions. No smell and no fuss.
The kit I received with first order made it almost mess free.
I also ordered shampoo/conditioner with first order but found it made my hair greasy... I cannot comment on any of the others as I went back to my regular shampoo/conditioner that I know works for me.

I have had 3 treatments so far and each is as FABULOUS as the First! I use a Red Copper color along with a LOVE IT (2x weekly) color refresher, the color remains Bright And Brilliant until the next coloring. I LOVE MY Color!! I love this product. I don't think I could ever go back to drug store hair dye. It covered my grays totally and it left my hair feeling nice and healthy afterwards. I feel like it took years off my appearance. I'm very satisfied and happy I tried it.

I used to buy my color in the store and my hair never was healthy but I have been ordering from esalon for a while and they take the time to listen to what you want and my hair looks so much healthier even though I am coloring it. The products are great!!!

The customized color is consistent and I don’t have to pay tons to go to the salon to get salon quality color for my hair. I never have to remember what colored I used last time and I have confidence on the consistency and quality of my hair color!

I love this! The color I thought was me was way too dark. The new adjusted color that gave a little red highlights was just perfect. My husband reacted and said "Did you color your hair? I see red highlights but no gray"

I'm a natural redhead but as you age....cough, your red fades. I have been doing this at home for three years now and totally love the outcome each time. When I need to darken or lighten a bit, I just let my colorist know and it's modified. Even my hairstylist didn't know I was doing my own hair.

It turned out better than I thought it would. I have been coloring my hair myself for years by mixing two creme colors, then highlighting. This color had dimension to it. I hope the second time is as successful

The custom color worked great, I still have my summer hair color and it covered my grey roots! As my hair always gets a lot of summer sun so it gets lighter. It usually gets taken away to caramel brown and everyone can tell I colored my hair. Thanks for listening and making it look like the summer picture I sent you!

First time using esalon and was a little nervous for the colour match, especially as I use hair extensions on a very regular basis (99J). I needn't have worried as it is absolutely perfect!

This is the first time I've had consistent color self applying at home. Store kits ( when I could find the same brand and color code) never looked the same from application to application; it was very apparent I had colored my hair. The color would always be too dark and then would fade out. With eSalon color, there is no off color after using. My hair looks natural and consistent from one application to the next; looks like my natural hair color. I love my warm brown with golden highlights. The color stays true until the next application. I also like getting 2 sets of gloves and the shampoo and conditioner with each eSalon delivery.

I was hesitant about how good this was going to be and honestly it has surpassed my expectations by so much more. The color was so rich and vibrant. The packets of shampoo and conditioner smell amazing. There ended up being a lot more color left over and my hair was already drenched so that was comforting because past times I've gotten my hair professionally done they've always had to go to mix more. Anyways, the color was absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to keep using this service.

I’ve been using eSalon for a year now and I can’t say enough positive things about it!! My hair color is amazing. It’s consistent. I was skeptical; I have a good bit of gray now and I had tried boxed colors and they did not cover it properly. I was also tired of paying a high price for monthly root color application at a salon but wanted good color and good results. I decided why not at least give eSalon color a try? SO happy I did. The color is rich and coverage is great. The process is clearly spelled out and a simple thing like including two pairs of disposable gloves makes it that much easier. I had been going to a local higher-end salon due to their renown brand of color but my hair was getting very dry and the color was somewhat dull - eSalon's color is rich, there is minute multi-tones of the color which makes it look vibrant. My hair remains healthy, shiny and soft to the touch. I am very pleased.

I think it is awesome to be able to have your ideal shade of hair dye made. It sure beats standing in the hair isle at your local store going back and forth, back and forth, and a few more back and forth. You get my drift.
You can consult with a colorist, can even send the colorist pics of your hair.
Auto delivery, with the ability to skip a delivery or pick the date your next color gets sent out is great too
AND...You can change your color anytime you want.
Definitely a must try.

Being in eSalon auto ship program has been awesome for me! You can go in and change the shipping dates as often as you like, give directions each time on color mixing preference, and they respond everytime... Heard about esalon from a friend and decided to give it a go! The process was easy and I got a response from a stylist pretty quick explaining the color I chose was a few shades darker than my current color and suggested that I try a color that was only one shade darker just in case I wanted to go lighter. I took the advice and am glad I did, not because I don't like dark hair but because I ended up loving the color they sent! I've told some friends about esalon and even more after they noticed and liked my hair. So far I'm happy with this product!

I was recently complimented on my color, highlights and low lights. No one would believe that I didn't have low lights and hadn't highlighted my hair in months. Secondly, they were slow to believe I did it myself. My answer: Believe it! Do it yourself! It's easy! The color and directions are customized. The tools and products offered are professional and inexpensive. The color covers gray and lasts weeks/ months longer than store box brands. One of the best investments I've made!

This was my first DYI for hair coloring and I am very impressed! It was clean, pleasant, easy and my roots are gone! The color you sent was spot on. As I had light and dark highlights, this root touch up could address only one (dark blonde). I will still need periodic salon trips but I am very grateful to save so much money in between! I had ordered the custom hair color kit months ago but never got up the nerve to do it. Months had gone by and finally I decided to just "DO IT". But my 19 year old looked at me when she saw me the next day and said "I don't know what you did today but you look 15 years younger". The color match to my original hair color is amazing. My hair looks healthier and has a luster to it that had been gone for years. It is an amazing product

I’ve tried many hair colors over the counter and nothing covered my gray or gave me the color that I wanted. I have a long thick hair and pay quite a bit of money to have my color done at the salon. I just couldn’t see paying that kind of money constantly to have my hair done. So I decided to try the salon and boy am I glad I did. I’m not sure why other reviews aren’t good, but I will always give five stars. It is just as easy to use as the color out of the box from the store. But the color is better, lasts longer, and completely covers my gray and is absolutely beautiful. I get compliments all the time. I don’t have a problem with losing any of my hair or any other issues that people have commented about in the past. I recommend this E-salon product to everyone! I have it auto shipped so that I am never without my color. It is affordable, easy to use and my color is beautiful and I can even change it or add highlights whenever I want.

I wear my hair very short in a traditional fade. The color looks natural and gives me great coverage. Also, my hair feels soft and conditioned. One bottle was good for 3 color treatments. I did my treatments once a month. Thank you.

I’m a natural dirty blonde. I’ve been bleaching (absolutely ruining) my hair for almost ten years. I’ve searched high and low to find a color that resembles my natural hair color. I finally found it! This was the first time I have used eSalon. Cannot tell you how pleased I am. I've had my hair professionally colored for years @ 65.00 a pop. Today was the first time I've ever done color myself. The process is very easy and I believe it looks much better than what the pro's do!! Give it a shot, you will not be disappointed..
