I'm very happy with the color. I was surprised. Not as good as salon but that's probably because I'm still nailing down the application. I have stubborn grays.

The color I chose was a perfect match to my hair!! And, while the root touch--up wasn't as easy as my aesthetician makes it look, it wasn't horrible either!! I rinsed it out, shampooed, conditioned, and was worried when it felt heavy and goopy--turns out I didn't get it all rinsed by leaning over the tub. So, into the shower for a full 2nd shampoo and conditioning, and my hair looks and feels amazing. Yay me!!! And e salon. 👍🏻
I cannot thank you enough for helping with the mess I was left with after a salon hair coloring. The roots were not only the worst shade of orange, I have dark brown hair, but was left with the orange stain all around my face! (Supposedly one of the premier salons in my area.) I wasn't able to send a picture, but she listened to my

As someone who is constantly looking for the best color I can get for the best price I can get, this was a great decision. I loved my color they gave me but I wanted it a little different, and just like that- they changed it for my next shipment with a cute lil graph to show me what they changed. Super friendly, natural but beautiful color, and so easy to mix.
Follow instructions and give lots of information on what you want...and you'll get it, perfect for what I wanted from day 1, I wish I could go to salon...but I'm on a tight budget, this is a great comprise of salon quality with me doing the application. Love this!
I asked for a red that went with my hazel eyes and also my skin tone. Based on one picture, nailed it! I have never had this happen in-person with a colorist. What is this magic?!

I was really nervous about trying this but so glad I did. I wasn't expecting 2 separate colors to apply so I did have to have my son help me a bit, not a one person job. Color went on smoothly, blending the 2 colors wasn't as hard as I thought and the clean up was even easy. My hair looks great and is very smooth! Will definitely be using again. And the price was/is so much more reasonable then the salon. Thank you!

I don't often review things but this hair colour is salon quality the colour is so strong and even my hair is shiny and not dull I'm so impressed I'm ordering more now. recommended you wont use another hair colour after this. I go to top salons in London and I can honestly say the colour is better my hair colour was black
Loved this experience so much! At first I was skeptical since I know nothing about hair color and was strictly going off the images on the website. I ordered a dark chocolate color thinking from the picture it would be exactly what I wanted. I noted that I have red undertones in my brown hair that I wanted to cover. The same day I ordered I was sent an email saying the colorist thought the color would be too dark to my liking and that a better formula was created for myself personally. Amazing customer service! Shows that these colorists know what they're doing and are paying attention to their customers. Not only were the directions precise and easy to follow but the product result was amazing. Not only did I love the customized color but I was able to do it at my own convenience and for a much cheaper rate than salons. Thank you esalon, definitely will be ordering again!
This was my first time using this product. I wanted to cover my highlights & the gray that was showing through. The color was a perfect match to my base color and it covered the gray well. Previously, I would have to touch up my gray every 4-6 weeks, it appears this product will be the same. It was easy to use with clear instructions.
I love the convenience of receiving my salon grade color in the mail auto-ship. I can color my hair at my own convenience and it always looks wonderful. Thank you eSalon!
My advice to you would be to give it a try, like I did. You won't be disappointed! It smells wonderful and you can tell it's made with high quality ingredients. My personalized color is vibrant and rich, absolutely LOVE this! I'm putting myself on auto ship. One less thing to worry about handling every 6 weeks as it will show up when I need it! I would also recommend sending a current picture if you can and explaining what your looking for in your color. Sorry this was so long but I'm truly excited about this!
The color was beautiful. It will take some practice learning how to separate and just do the roots. I'm purchasing the clips with my next order to hopefully help me out. I appreciate that there was no hair loss during the rinse that I experienced with the box brands. Looking forward to my next order.
No one at work even noticed I colored my hair! And I mean in a good way. The color was so natual but, shinny and multi faseted. I'm truly very pleased.
I'm so in love with this hair color. My shade was perfect for me. Plus the packaging and extras I got with my order were extra gifts that made it even better. Love the shampoo and conditioner travel size big love. It smells amazing and has made my color look amazing. I will never buy another at home color from anywhere else. I have used eSalon since 2012. I have had perfect color, and the healthiest hair of my life. Consultants are available to change your color or enhance, and secondary prouducts are wonderful as well. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants shiny healthy hair!
Easy don't have to run to the store for color every month. And easy to change color. Customer service is excellent. Able to change or skip orders. Good product.
I was really excited that they treat the root different than the remaining growth of hair. This is where box color from the store can't compare. I agree salon color is best, but for those of us who are not willing to drop the mad amounts of money on the coloring, this is perfect. It was easy to apply, and didn't dry out my hair. I believe that my hair is in very good condition, but it is colored. I made sure to upload a photo, I'm sure that helps make a difference.

I think this last hair color was the best with excellent coverage. I think this will be my winter shade and I look forward to working on a lighter blend for summer!
My hair kit and color was amazing! I had a two step process to cover up highlights. The color was exactly as I expected it and looks great! No strong odors, or any complaints! I didn't get real great grey coverage, but that easily could have been my error (near the roots), so I'm not judging the product on that this time around.
My hair color looks better than ever and my hair feels great! I am hooked. I love this product. My hair never looked as good and I did not have to pay the $120 salon price. Thank you!!!
I am really happy with the coverage. The colour is great but I have asked for a slight change on my next order. This is not because E Salon got it wrong but because I am trying to find the "right" colour.
All done in under an hour! Why does it take hours in the hairdressers to achieve the same result?
My daughter, aged 16, watched a you tube video and did my roots. I added the remainder of the bottle and "shampooed" it onto my hair and left for 5 minutes as advised. So happy. This will save me almost £400 a year.
Did my intro offer at $10. My hair had to be colored bad but I didn't want to pay the salon price so I put off coloring for months. I got an email for the $10 intro and decided to try it out. LOVE THIS STUFF! The color worked wonderful and matched exactly. They send you a wondeful box with gloves, shampoo, conditioner and more! I highly recommend this for everyone. For the intro price what do you really have to loose!

the Colorist are wonderful and easy to work with. it took three times before the color worked for my complexion, but so worth the back and forth. the color holds quite true as i need to color every three weeks (even at the street salon). so glad i'm saving bundles of money to skip the physical hair salon. Esalon ROCKS!!

E-Salon is so willing to work with you to customize the perfect hair color for you. I was having issues covering the gray, and with the help of a color specialist and a few "selfies" that I sent in via e-mail, a change was made to my custom hair color. Now it is almost perfect!!

I pulled my gray/blonde hair through a cap and applied the color as low lights. It darkened my over all color which was the goal and left natural "blonde" highlights and the color blends perfectly with my natural colors!
The customer service people are fabulous and always willing to take the time to discuss your color goals. Color always is on time. They send email reminders to let you know when to expect your next delivery. Within the email is also an opportunity to change your color. I highly recommend giving them a try! Will save you lots of money!
I love my new hair color. Esalon made picking what I wanted easy & provided some needed advice that helped my color not be too dark. I had everything I needed to apply the color and it looks great.

I can't believe that this covered all my coarse gray! I am 70% gray, and the only time I've ever had lasting gray coverage like this is when my stylist colors my hair. The two step process added highlights and my color looks 100% natural! I am hooked!
So my first batch wasn't exactly what I expected but my 2nd batch was perfect! I love how eSalon's coloring kits don't damage my hair and actually make them look healthier after I color. I haven't found this with other box brands. eSalon's color leaves my hair looking like I spent $$$ at the salon.
Many years ago I did hair shows in Canada and my hair was teased, tormented, coloured every colour possible so it became very stressed. This product does NOT stress my hair nor does it cause any problems. A beautiful colour and I love it.
This is by far the best boxed coloring product I've ever used and I've used probably all that is available! It's a bit more money but worth every penny! I was considering giving up and giving in to pricey salon coloring which I REALLY cannot afford but now that I found esalon they've saved the day,my money and my hair! I've gotten so many compliments on my hair and a few people ask me where I get my color done! I had to have them tweek my formula but only once to add a little more of a hue and it was perfect. The whole experience is professional and the tips they give are part of that. Will never use anything else! Thanks esalon !
I've gone to salons and spent tons of money on pretty but unnatural shades of red, or not pretty highlights. Done. I miss pretty highlights but I don't miss spending all of my money! Color is beautiful, natural, product is easy to use. Highly recommend!!!!! Take the opportunity to send good pics of your hair and of what you like. It's worth the extra minute!!!!! Not going back!

Great color and my consultant was super responsive and helpful in making sure I choose a color that would work. Initially I had choose a color several shades darker and she suggested only going 2 and I love it!
