Love eSalon, their experts really take the time to customize your orders and instruct you properly on application. The Colorists are always prompt to respond to any questions you have, they'll even call you to ensure they understand what kind of look you are trying to achieve and in turn make sure you get what you need. This was my first order and I was a little skeptical using a hair color that was chosen online. Would the color be right, was it safe, could I mix it right? Then I freaked myself out thinking, oh my gosh, what if my hair falls out or something like that. I held my breath and colored my roots. The color was amazing and my hair did not fall out. I'm very happy with the results and am waiting on my next order.
I like that my kit contains the hair color along with my personal instructions, stain guard, stain remover, shampoo to remove any excess hair color, conditioner, and 2 pair of gloves. I think the thing that I like the best is that there is no harsh smells. I would highly recommend the products and the experience.
I really enjoy receiving my box with everything needed to complete my hair color at home. Easy to apply and the color lasts. Above all no strong odors that lingure even after you have washed it out!
This was my first time using the custom hair color. It arrived quickly & I followed the instructions provided. The color was exactly what I had discussed & chose. Love it & plan on using again.
This time I received a perfect match. I did have to strip down to a 9G, not formulated, just stripping color down to Gold. Then I let this color stay on the roots and body of my hair around 30 minutes and then another 15 all over. It came out exactly my natural color. I just foresee it not staying until enough color is deposited to make a go. But it is my color. Amazing. Scarlett, any suggestions? Picture added in profile picture.
I wanted to adjust my color slightly from my previous color and the experts at esalon made it so easy! I told them what I wanted and they gave me different options to choose from based on my feedback. Now I think that my color is absolutely perfect! I've had a fantastic experience with esalon and couldn't be happier with the results!
...in a good way! I was sure the color they sent would turn my natural color red-nope! Pretty sure they knew what they were doing. I have grey and colored/highlighted hair so not so easy to color. I did respond to ask for better grey coverage but I'm super happy so far!

Great product. I requested a change on my color to not be so harsh. After following the personalized directions for coloring it I was happy with the end results. Not harsh, felt healthy and was shiny.
I am so happy to have found you guys. The quality of color is exceptional, I am so happy with the results. I think I didn't leave it on long enough or I'm not quite so good at applying it myself yet because not all my gray was covered BUT what did get covered is gorgeous. I will totally order again. This is perfect for those who cant afford salon prices but the store boxes are just not doing the job, which is where I am at. This is seriously the best service I have ever used! I got my color in the mail quick. The color is so beautiful my favorite color I have had my hair! The instructions for coloring were simple and easy to follow.
I was a bit unsure when I ordered this as this product comes from the US and not the UK so I was worried about where I would stand if things went wrong.
I needn't have worried as it was very straight forward (I did the allergy test first). The only difference in the application that I noticed was that after the colouring time you have to rinse it clear, then shampoo and condition with the products provided, and not keep the conditioner on for a couple of minutes afterwards which I have been used to.
The colour is lovely, very natural which is what I wanted and my hair feels soft and nourished. So far so good, hopefully it will stay this way until it's time to do again. Time will tell.

I was three quarters grey. My original colour was a dark ash blonde, when I was younger. I remembered the lovely sun-kissed highlights during the summer and thought that's what I wanted to go back to. However, my colourist--Paul C--sent me something unexpected; what I can only describe as the dark ash blonde I was before the summer sun got to it, and it's perfect! I'm 47, and I think the lighter colour I expected would have been too "young" looking for me. Thank you for the lovley choice of colour and the fantastic grey coverage. I will be back for more!
When I saw how much darker the shade was at first, I was very skeptical. But when the whole process was done and the next day I received lots of compliments....I was really happy with the new change! The colorist did a really good job.
I am over 50, have dark brunette hair and am about 45% gray and white at this point. I refused to go blond because with my light skin, it would just wash me out. Therefore, my only choice is to go lighter with a red. I chose an Auburn and had been using a well known box color for years. Then, I discovered eSalon! What a wonderful change. They had me send a picture, asked me what I wanted and tailored my color to ME and my skin tone. Now my color looks so natural and I get complemented regularly! I have used the service for a year or so and can get an order as often as I like or skip when I need to. I can't ask for better service. When I want to change up the color I just send another photo and ask for the color to be tweaked and the colorist does it. Then I get an email asking if it turned out how I wanted it to. It is like the colorist understands me without ever having spoken to me. I love this service!

I have colored my hair at home for the past ten years with pretty good results. The color faded more quickly than I liked so I am trying something new. I just colored my hair this morning with these products and I am pleased with the immediate results.
I had been buying two colors at the store and mixing them. I always had trouble finding both colors, I had to remember how much of each I used, and the outcome was unpredictable, although I always liked it. eSalon provides a more subtle color, which is natural looking and complements my skin coloring more. It is also less expensive. I like being able to wash it out right away. I love it.

My color match has been spot on since my first order. I admit, I miss the head massage I get from the salon but I cannot beat the price to color my hair at home with eSalon.
I love the personalised service. Make sure you send a photo so they have some idea of where you are now. I had a follow up email that helped determine the best colour for me. Used it 2 days ago and perfect shiny colour. They'll work with me if I gradually want to go darker. Definitely give it a try.
I can't say enough great things about my hair color. I always thought I had to go to a salon to get the right color for me, but you have proved me wrong! I have been using eSalon for a couple of years and I love not only how easy it is to use and to change colors, but after losing my job, it's a huge relief that I can color my hair without a huge hit to my budget. I've been using this service for about 2 years and have to say that I am totally satisfied with the result. It looks natural and covers the gray. I struggled with the gray coverage for quite a while before switching to this product and all I can say is I wish I had switched sooner! The color is fantastic and the customer service is superb! This is the perfect color!!!! I receive compliments with nearly every new person I met. It's the perfect amount of red and copper. It looks so natural. I've even kept this color for almost a year now. When I typically would change my hair color every 2-3 months trying to find the right color. I'm almost afraid to share this color because it's my little secret, but I'm so happy with it I want to share just how great eSalon has been and far less expensive than the salon.
We applied it last night. This is my 3rd time using my custom color. I loved it as always. My Daughter is a hair stylist and she loves the product and it's easy application. My color results were great as always.
Very pleased with all products. They smell good, they are good quality, instructions are sraight forward and easy...best thing ive discovered on the internet in years. I also love that they colorists are so quick and make adjustments based on exactly what you say or request.

I like the color. I am pulling red again where my hair was gray. So I am getting red highlights throughout my hair. But there is no shine to my hair.. Anything I can do? Anything you can change to add some shine to the color?

I love this formula and also being able to customize it!! It only took me one email to adjust my chosen color.. My hair feels so soft. The shine is amazing. SOOOO much better than drug store brands.....and ive tried them all!!
I now have the perfect color at less than a third the price of a salon. They worked with me to formulate the right color for me by the third try and honestly the first two were pretty good just not perfect! They also have all the supplies you can think of and the hair mask makes my hair look healthy and soft.
This product is amazing, hair feels renewed and the colour lasts for ages. Best home colour product I've ever tried and I have used hundreds over the years! Even my man noticed how great my hair looked!!!
