I enjoy the color selections and easy modificatins to my color and coverage as desired. The instructions are customized and great, everything comes in a tidy package full of thoughtfull tools. I enjoy it more than getting color in a salon.
I love the color, my hair texture and the convenience of the color arriving at my door as scheduled. Great customer service as well. However, the grey coverage could be better. I will mention this to my colorist next time and hopefully my personalized formula will be altered to suit my needs. Overall very satisfied.
The color was PERFECT! found that using the brush, the color went a lot further and it was easier than I expected. This was a first for me , but by following the instructions, there was enough color to cover my whole head. In the past, I've had to buy two color kits. I love that you can shampoo right after, too.

I was a little nervous trying your product after reading some reviews. I was going to throw it away. I am so glad I didn't!!!! The color is so rich. It actually makes my hair look better. Best hair purchase ever! Box dyes do not give such a rich full color. Actually, I've never gotten this color at a salon. Every gray is covered and I have some stubborn grays! My hair felt a little harsh when rinsing, but the cream rinse I received with the product made it soft again.
Whenever a hairdresser used a dark brown color on my hair, it looked dyed. It didn't look natural. Now I feel that I have my natural color back.
I went with the permanent which is a little harsher than the demi-permanent, but the stylist informed me that the coverage is far superior with permanent and based on my results I agree. However, I did switch it to demi-permanent. When I receive it next month, I will publish a comparison review of permanent versus demi-permanent.
I've now been using this product for close to a year and even my professional stylist compliments me on the quality of the product and not damaging my hair.
It is amazing to have a professional mix my colors instead of me doing it. I'm not a professional and based on that fact I guess what I was doing my hair was thinning out. But now since I've used Custom Hair Color, I really think my hair is coming back and nicely.
Everything you need to color your own hair, with detailed instructions, and even stain preventer for the face, and stain remover if you goof! The color turns out great, and the conditioner makes for silky hair afterward. A wonderful product and service. Plus you can always adjust your color by sending a photo and talking with a specialist at eSalon.
This is the first time I have used this color system. I was a licensed cosmetologist for 20 plus years and due to medical issues I no longer work in a salon. I have been using over the counter products and must re apply my color every two-three weeks...since using esalon, I haven't had to re apply and my color looks amazing!
I have been using a salon product for years - which I loved. However my hair had gotten very coarse and dry so I decided I just had to try something else. Colored on Thursday and have been using the shampoo and conditioner for less than a week, and so far it feels better than it has in years, without the expensive salon conditioning treatments.
The color covered everything with no fading! At the salon, my color always fades off of the gray within a few weeks. However, after several weeks, I was pleasantly amazed that my color held with no fancy/expensive shampoo to assist!
Better then going to salon. Salon always turns it redish or yellow tint and cost lot more. ESalon is great. Save money and hair has no yellowing or redishtint to it. Love it. Already telling friends have try it.
I was very afraid to color my natural hair because I have not used any chemicals on my hair in 9 years. I saw eSalon & purchased it. It was easy to order & my color arrived very quickly. When I opened the box I just looked in it & while I thought the presentation was nice I just couldn't go through with it. I started thinking what if it's to harsh for my hair? What if I don't like the color? So it sat in on my kitchen counter in the box for about 3 weeks before I finally took the plunge & colored my hair. Man oh man I love it!! I had only 1 problem the shampoo & conditioner pack was too small for my huge head of hair. I wish I would have checked product list & ordered an extra pack of each of them then my experience would have been over the top!!!!!!!
Oh my goodness, this hair color is amazing!!! The color is vibrant and it has been holding in my hair now for over 3 weeks! I love it!!! Follow directions, they are different than the store box ones and it all works together!

I absolutely love eSalon. The color holds well, it looks like I went to the salon to have it done and my hair is so soft. I do suggest to use the brush and a bowl to color though.
I sent a picture and actually picked a darker color for my highlighted hair to return closer to my natural brown. I haven't done my own hair in 20 + years. To say the least I was a bit hesitant. Vanessa was my consultant and sent an email saying she thought a little lighter color would be a better match. I couldn't be happier! My gray is covered and it looks like a Balage color. At first I was hesitant, but then I read the reviews and it is 100% guaranteed so I decided and went for it...I'm very satisfied with the color I chose although it was the same one I had and it came out gorgeous, my problem was my roots since I have lots of grays (ouch) but it came out really nice, it did cover my grays and overall very pretty and also happy with the quality of the products...give it a try, you won't regret.
I have been quite pleased with my color, though it took a few days or more to get used to the color change, having been blonde most of the last 40 years. All my friends and family have raved about the color so I guess you pretty much nailed it. I love the shampoo and conditioner! And I really like the product used to boost the color. Even my roots have been slow to show themselves despite cutting every four weeks. Thanks for the convenience of this service. This is probably the best color I've ever purchased! It's the closest to my natural hair since before 2000 when I went thru chemotherapy! My hair grew back gray and I've been using store brand products since. This is a keeper!

The colorists did great job matching hair color from a photo that I sent. My roots turned white after cancer treatments and this was the perfect solution. The color looks natural and I have gotten lots of compliments.
This product is so great on my hair! Was easy to pick colors I like that would match my natural hair and turned my grays to matching highlights! It's gentle on my hair so I have not had any drying out. I would recommend this product to anyone!
I used to spend $200/month on my color. I started coloring myself but always felt like the shade was off a bit or faded too quickly. I like that with esalon there is a hair color professional who responds to my feedback and can give me guidance on the best way to use the color. And the color itself really stays true for a long time. Living in FL, I am often in the sun. The Tinted Love helps to decrease the red tones that comes from sun damage. Finally perfect shade of chocolate! I thought it too dark in the beginning but then it evened out and toned down. The color really lasts! I thought I was not going to be able to wear permanent hair color because I chemically straighten my hair, however, I have opted not to straighten it because my hair just looks so youthful and lovely! I did not see any significant hair breakage either! :)
I love the idea of a colorist mixing a color especially for me, then shipping to my front door. Great idea, wish I thought of it! I'd like to thank Courtney, my colorist, for adapting a shade request to my photo. It does work, although I'd have to say may still be a tad red
(requested less red),which I'm sure we can remedy. All in all, I'm really very happy with the product.

I can't say enough about the color! It hit what I wanted the first time. My husband and friends loved it as well. It was easy-to-use and the color covers my gray. My shipment arrived just when I needed it.
A great idea, great customer service, great product. I contacted your team to ask a question and they got right back to me. I easily changed the frequency of my shipment - no problems. I love this color. It's so close not only to my natural color but the red highlights really make it look like I didn't color it but my own. My hair feels great too.
Having the color made for me instead of what in offered in a store has been wonderful. I can lighten or darken 1 shade instead of 2 or 3 shades. The color looks natural instead of brassy. My hair feels soft & is shiny. This is an awesome product!
I have been coloring my hair at home for 20 years. I am 53 and gray runs in my family at a young age. My hair also grows very fast and so it was to much to continue to get professional color every three weeks.
I have literally tried every over the counter color and none of them cover gray as well or as long as e-salon color.
The color is rich and has dimension, it looks like it was professionally colored.

I've been getting my hair done at the Salon for $285 and my finances changed. I kept seeing this ad on FB and Oh Boy, did I have grey hair coming out all over. Plus, I couldn't find a store brand color that would cover my highlights. A $10 try, I'm sold! It turned out to be the best hair color I've done on my own. Will definitely keep on using E-Salon
