I hesitated on ordering this but SOOOO glad I did! Love the adjustable snaps and the quality of the vinyl. Very impressed with my whole eSalon experience so far!
I ordered the protective cape with my first delivery. It is great. It's high quality and it's nice and thick. The cape is designed so that your shoulders, neck and back are completely covered. I would recommend this cape to anyone buying a color package.
I had always used an old bathrobe when I colored my hair but when I started up with eSalon, I decided to splurge and get the cape. I’m glad I did because this thing really does a much better job than my old bathrobes. It is snug around your neck without being too tight plus it has snaps that you can use to keep it in place under your arms. It also has snaps around the neckline so it adjusts to multiple neck diameters. It’s a generous size as well so it covers you completely and protects your clothes. It’s also easy to clean. I just take it in the shower with me and rinse it off while I have the conditioner on my hair. I’ll probably get my mom one for Christmas this year so she can use it when she colors her hair.
I had never bothered getting a cape, though I knew I should. We try to be careful using color, but I have sacrificed a few towels, and when I saw this cape at a reasonable price, I jumped on it. Love it!

For at-home use, I definitely prefer this cape. It's so much easier to maneuver around because it's shorter than regular salon capes. At the same time, it is long enough that when my hair was down to the small of my back, it was no problem-- kept it off of me still. Super easy to use. You can adjust the neck width by using different buttons. I've used it on my husband, myself and my 3 & 5 year olds. It snaps and stays secure- easy peasy.
Never thought of a cape for doing my color just wore an old shirt, The cape is so much better you don't have to pull a shirt over your head when your done just unsnap the cape. It is well made will last forever. It is adjustable to fit perfect.
I wasn’t expecting this and it was such a good accessory! Good quality and easy to fasten, and certainly not a single use only! Really impressed by whole box
The cape was helpful so that I didn't have to use an old T-Shirt or towels. There are many snaps at the neck for good fit and the cape is long enough to cover my shoulders with great coverage front and back.
I've been coloring my own hair for 12 years and this was the very first time I didn't end up with color on my shoulders -- or ruin a shirt or bra! It is waterproof, so on a hot day it doesn't "breathe"....but you're going in the shower to rinse out anyway, right?

This protective cape is nicer than others I’ve had before. The fit is petter for me, it is thicker (while still being super lightweight) and seems to have a better backing for protection from drips or water.
