This lathers up so well and it does not take much. I have tried so many shampoos and spent a lot of money searching for the right one. I have found it!

My hair is clean and soft without any heavy additives. Just good, old school clean. Easily rinses out and is gentle with a very soft frangrance. My scalp feels great.

I have been using this shampoo for several months and my hair is in best condition it has been in years. I have tried high end , drugstore always looking for that miracle promise. This is it for me. I have some what fine and frizzy with grey and easy breakage, since using this I feel like I have normal hair, and even has shine.

Delighted to be able to purchase this shampoo as a single item as I did not need to buy conditioner as it lasts longer. Leaves my hair feeling clean and soft when used with either weekly or standard conditioner. Happy to use eSalon products .
I like this shampoo. It suds up nicely, smells great and leaves my hair feeling clean and healthy. Combined with the cream rinse my hair is silky and shiny.

Love this classic shampoo . Smells lush and non greasy shiny hair .
I liked this shampoo when it was included in the color kit and I ordered it along with the conditioner that was also in the kit. The Classic shampoo does an excellent job holding my color. To be sure, my color lightens but the color that remains is attractive with a shine. The conditioner is also an excellent product. My hair color is a reddish brown.

The difference in my hair since I have used this shampoo is amazing! So much easier to manage & longer lasting.
I fell in love with this in the little packets. Smells amazing and makes enough luscious suds for my very long and thick hair. This product is very luxurious feeling and cleans hair perfectly.

Great for color treated hair, nice scent. I really like that it doesn't contain sulfates ingredients.
I really enjoy this shampoo. I do not wash my hair everyday so I need it to cleanse in a meaningful way. It needs to be gentle though. That is a hard combination to come by in a shampoo, but this does the trick. Color still looks great. Worth every penny.
I used the classic color care shampoo and really love the results. Gentle on my hair, feels clean, smells great. My hair is soft and has more body than before.
I just received my first bottle. According to my one usage. I found my hair was lean without any stripping of moisture and color. Looking forward usages to see how this continues to keep the shampoo many times.
To be honest I started buying this in order to get free shipping on my color orders. I believe it is the same shampoo that comes with the color sets and it always left my hair soft and silky. And it continues to do so even in between color applications. I recommend it to any eSalon subscriber for whom it is appopriate.
I really like this shampoo as it leaves my hair soft and shiny, but not weighed down at all. (I have fine, thin hair). Plus is smells great and works as advertised (gentle on colored hair). Whenever it’s on sale, I purchase a bottle.

Great shampoo, nice smell leaving your hair soft and shining.
This shampoo along with the tint rinse will definitely show results. It was a bit smaller than expected but you don’t have to use much of it. I think this is worth purchasing
For being sulfate-free I'm amazed at the lather this shampoo creates. I increased time between my 1st and 2nd color because my color lasted so much longer than any store bought kit ever used. I feel very confident in saying it lasted longer because of the amazing formula for this shampoo.
As with all the products I have tried so far, I am happy with this shampoo. Its very gentle on my hair. My color seems to last longer between colorings, doesn't fade my color. Very happy with ths product
Do not let the super cheap looking bottles fool you- this shampoo (and the conditioner) are the best thing out there. I feel like I finally found a shampoo for home that gives my hair that silky soft full never greasy wonderful feeling I used to only get when I went to the salon.
I’ve got thick hair, around shoulder length and only buy these every 2 or so months. I only wash my hair 2 -3 times a week because it stays clean and fresh, and no buildup.
Yep, they nailed the formula.
Sure, the bottle and label (branding) look like something from the dollar store (seriously ugly- marketing, are you reading this?!) but they do work.
I prefer this regular formula and find it cleans and conditions perfectly and my hair stylist says it’s great. She is also completely impressed that I manage a totally natural brown that doesn’t look dyed or fakey. I could never color my own hair before and constantly had to pay hundreds for color fixes. Esalon has been a game changer and money saver for me. Yay!
PS: I’m not an employee, not paid or incentivized - I just love their stuff. Except, you know, the packaging! It looks like Mary Kay barfed.

I really love this Shampoo and have no hesitation in recommending it. Nice fragrance, good lather, cleans well. As soon as it is back in stock I will order more! My only suggestion would be to change to a tube rather than a bottle as I find I need to shake and squeeze the bottle quite a few times to get the product out. Same for the Conditioner. I hope this is considered but regardless I will continue to order.
They sent this to me as a courtesy because i messed up in the washing the dye out process. I appeciate it so much. Great smell and does an amazing job cleansing. Im a esalon client for life now.
