I went to a salon had very dark/black hair and spent a ton of money. She foiled it blonde highlights ugly and cut a layer that was aweful My hair is now is damaged and looked horrible so I took a big chance on ESalon. Valerie is helping me fix this mess. I bought this product hot spray cuz I need to flat iron my hair and I first used it today. WORKS FANTASTIC seriously. My hair is soft and does not look as damaged as it did before I used it. I recommend seriously recommend using this product if you flat iron your hair. When my hair is healthy again using this product will look even much better.

This spray seems really good so far. I’ve used it a few times. It’s not sticky or stiff in your hair. It smells nice. Seems to protect without leaving a residue either. I really like it. I have naturally curly hair and it works great for both diffusing and using a curling iron or flat iron.
I am used to using popular brands of hairspray and usually will loaded it up to make sure my hair style stays; with this product I don’t have to use a ton and my hair doesn’t feel dried out or crunchy. It smells great too. 👍

Love how much hold I have & curls definition, it even hold till the next day!
With the quarantine or Stay in Place order going on needless to say my hair is longer than it’s been in years! This spray allows me to be able to curl my hair and it doesn’t go flat. I’m liking this a bunch!!
Absolutely love this! I have heavy hair that's down to my butt and this is the ONLY product that I have found that holds my curls for DAYS (even after brushing my hair out)
I haven’t used this product in years because I quit going to the salon that sold it. When I saw esalon carried it I immediately put it in my cart. Boy have I missed this stuff. Gives your hair heat protection but also holds the curl.
I have used it once and the extra volume it gave my hair and the extra hold was amazing. I'm looking forward to using it every time I wash and straighten my hair. This is a product I'm sure to buy repeatedly.

Haven’t truly tried this yet. Just sprayed on hair to see the texture of it
Product does what it’s supposed to do but difficult to apply. Shape of bottle is large at top so it’s hard to grasp and spray with one hand while sectioning hair with the other hand. Also, spritzes are short so you have to spray/pump quite a few times to cover hair. Going to put it in a different spray bottle. Otherwise, all good.

I absolutely love how my hair looks and how long it holds! However my hands are small and I have a very hard time spraying it on my hair.
I will purchase again because it works so well, but I truly hate the bottle!

This product did not work for me and made my hair look like dry straw. My hair felt sticky and looked so bad. I tried several times, using a minimal amount of product on my thick straight hair, but it did not tame my hair and made it look wiry and out of control. The near full bottle is still sitting in my bathroom cabinet……

I so wanted to love this, but the pump on the bottle gets SO STICKY with product that its impossible to press down, barely spurting product from the too-easily-clogged spray nozzle. I've tried rinsing after use but to no avail. While I wanted to move away from aerosol, this spray ended up being a waste of money. Bummer, bc I love Kenra otherwise. When the bottle did work, the actual spray did help set and hold curls. However I do wish it wasn't SO stiff (I have fine hair so it’s too drying which defeats the heat protection claims in my opinion). And bc of the horrible spray action, it was hard to spray evenly or lightly on hair.

It is almost impossible to hold the bottle and spray with one hand. The tapering of the bottle makes it hard to grasp and use the sprayer. I’ve had to use both hands to be able to hold the bottle and spray the product. NOT FUN! I’ve used Esalon for years and have never written a bad review until now. And it’s the bottle, not the product that I’m unhappy with. Until the bottle design changes I will not be purchasing this product again.

I realize I am older, but I have troubles with the pump. Wish it slide down better as I have to almost use two hand to pump it. It does have a nice smell and holds the curl really well.

I am trying to use this product at a heat protection but it causes my very straight hair to tangle badly. It does create some hold for curling or styling but I don't love the stickiness

My hair is fine. The bottle suggests sectioning off dry hair and spraying. Even with a quick, light spray, I found it hard to separate the strands to flat iron. The hair simply clumped together in a sticky mess. After flat ironing, product left my hair feeling sticky and quickly afterwards it looked dry and damaged.

This makes my hair hard, sticky and stiff as a board. I've tried it several times to make sure that it wasn't just a one time issue. It's almost impossible to spray out of the nozzle and it's super thick and sticky, I've used other Kenra products and have always loved them, but this one was a complete waste of money.

This is a terrible product. It sprays on hair really thick, turns hair in to stiff and like straw. I could not use the flat iron on my hair. I had to re-wash my entire hair in order to continue getting ready for my event, which I almost missed due to having to wash this stuff out of my hair. It would be nice to get my $22 back!

This spray was like glue on my hair. Hard, and stuck together. Couldn't brush thru it or soften it up. Used once, never again!!

I love the brand and I'm sure it helps protect hair, but the hold was too much for me personally. I gave it to a friend who likes it and I went back to my regular product.

I bought this to use with my Dyson airwrap but it was instantly sticky and I couldn’t comb it. Plus the sprayer on the bottle is hard to use.

First the bottle is shaped in such a way that I can not use one handed and it makes it awkward and time consuming. I hope it's protecting my hair. Time will only tell. With the humidity of Virginia, my style falls flat as soon as I walk out the door. It doesn't seem to matter if I use less or more of this product, my shape goes away with humidity. It smells great, but I can't say I can justify the cost when considering the outcome.
