Color didn't takeI loved everything about this coloring process except that my hair color ended up almost identical to what it was prior to coloring it. I am not happy with the results and have let E-salon know the color was wrong for my hair. Nothing was mentioned about refunding my purchase nor sending the right color to replace the one that didn't work. They said they want me to order another color and see if that works. Let down.I just got to try my first hair color this morning. I found the smell to be pleasant, as hair colors go. However, I'm pretty sure all of the residue is not out of my hair. It felt like I was trying to wash an oil-based glue from my hair & scalp. The only thing the hair color adhered to was my scalp. After the review from Allure, I expected much more. My second shipment is already on the way, but I have gone ahead & cancelled any further shipments. In fact, the one that is on the way will most likely be sent back. I don't want to take a chance on hair breakage. My hair is so frizzy from use of the color this morning. I will be doing a vinegar rinse followed by a deep conditioner later. Spotty applicationI have colored my hair for years and never had a problem before I experienced esalon. The color was spotty and it has been a week since I have colored my hair and I find more of it is washing out. Now I am left wondering if I should wait 3 more weeks to dye my hair again or just go to the store and pick the box dye I was using for years before this. My color hasn't changed...Not sure it's eSalon's fault but my color hasn't changed. I've requested multiple times for a lighter and brighter color, for over a year now. They change my formula and the strength but my color isn't any lighter or brighter. It's still a very dark brown with a subtle hint of red only showing in sunlight. My natural color is a medium brown. Apparently it doesn't lift very well. I think I'm long passed due on needing to just go into a salon for some bleach and highlights to get what I'm wanting.
