It is a great product, my hair feels really clean, strong and smooth.
My only concern is the pump on top of the bottle needs to be improved. I have to press it at least 4-5 times for every use.

I'm not sure how this product compares to other shampoos, it didn't do anything special that I could tell. It has a lovely smell, but the pump is hard to use; need a lot of pressure and it dispenses very little amount, so you need a sturdy surface that you can put weight on. Bottle was smaller than i expected, so be aware of the volume.

the volume it gives is kind of subtle but it's a good one i like it, the only complain i have is about the bottle dispenser because it takes too long to take the product out due to its thickness

Probably one of the first volumizing shampoo that actually volumizing! Great product. Only complaint was I thought it was going to be bigger! And it's not as lathering as I expected.

This is a good product. I liked it, but it was just hard to get out of the bottle. Overall it did add some volume. I just don't blow dry my hair enough.

Shampoo does lock in color and color looks fresh after washing. Wish it would suds a little more. Never sure hair is completely clean for the lack of suds. Volume is there as I want. Hair is frizzy and need to use argon oil even though I use the conditioner.

I have had a natural color for the last 10 years. I was super excited to try this product, and they offer shampoo for £5. Why not? But after I used it, I got greasy hair the next day. This product is definitely not for my type of hair.

This product doesn’t seem to add any volume to my hair. It doesn’t get as sudsy as the regular classic color safe shampoo that comes with the color kit. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Having fine hair, I'm always interested in products that could provide a bit more volume. I also have some curl to my hair. While this shampoo provided a bit of extra volume, it completely voided the natural curl. I used it twice and then gave it to my niece. I went back to using the curl enhancing shampoo for color treated hair I was using and now just use the Lift Mist when I need a bit of extra volume.

The first time, I really liked it and it did add volume. The second time, I air-dried my hair and it seemed really dry. Normally, I can wait up to 4 days to wash my hair. This just made my hair dry.

For my 50 year old hair... it did provide volume but at the expense of making my hair look dull and dry.
I was happy with the moisturizer but I decided to give this other one a chance.
May be it was just my type of hair as I like their products very much

I was very disappointed!!..After reading reviews and decided to buy it..i have got very thin hair and i was looking for something that gives me volume but doesn't leave my hair all heavy and this shampoo did exactly that doesnt smell nice and my hair felt harsh on touch after a wash and very heavy after drying had to rewash it after with my other shampoo

I tried your suggestion to wash my scalp with big love shampoo and the rest of my hair strength shampoo . I really don’t see any difference in volume I think once I use the rich conditioner it tames my curl too much . You need a shampoo just for wavy curly hair

I have been impressed with the quality of products thus far. That said, this shampoo was disappointing. It did not make a rich lather and my hair was as limp as before. Honestly did not see any difference.

Maybe it is just me, but it made my hair full of static. However, it smells good and it may just be my type of hair, I have red thick curly hair. On the great side, when I told eSalon my issues, they immediately refunded my money! So the customer service is fantastic! I used it with the Volumizing Conditioner so maybe it was it and not the shampoo. I have not used it but once so I am not sure which or if it was both. :(

Just bought this for the first time-found the feel/texture of the shampoo a bit weird, Not much in suds (know that is not necessary to clean but like the feel of the standard shampoo much better) and it didn’t give any additional volume vs. my normal shampoo. Disappointed, wish I had gotten the standard shampoo that comes with the hair dye package.

I got the travel size of this and it was great...left my hair clean, lifted, and bouncy. But this full size version did not do that for my hair at all. In fact, I noticed it made my hair more oily and as a result, flat. Very dissapointed!

For me, the results of this shampoo were awful. My baby fine hair went flat and frizzy. It, along with the volumizing conditioner, took out every bit of my natural curl.

I was disappointed with this shampoo,did not give my hair much volume and made my hair look dull, no shine at all,I should have order the shine serum instead.

I have very fine thin hair and this product leaves my hair feeling very heavy with an almost oily feeling. I am not a fan of the volumizing products because they have left me hair very flat.

I get the low sulfate thing for color protection, but I have shorter hair and I’m doing 5-6 pumps to get almost no lather. My scalp doesn’t feel clean after I shampoo. Does smell nice, but scent doesn’t last either. Meh.

I love the smell and initial feel of my hair after using this, but after about 30 min after it’s dry- STATIC. I have tried every combination of conditioner or serum or mousse with this and nothing solves the problem. Heartbreaking.

This was just ok for me. I think I need something that focuses on hydration for colored hair, because this leaves my hair feeling rough and dry and even with a conditioner, my hair had static electricity when I would try to style it. Not a good match for my hair.

I did not like the shampoo and conditioner at all. it made my hair really dry after washing it and then the next day my hair would be oily. I will never buy it again! I think I’m gonna stop ordering your hair dye kit also,

I wanted to love this as much as the color care set. I have thin hair and needed a boost. If you don't want to run your fingers through your hair and for it to feel soft then maybe you will like it? I tried being heavy on matching conditioner and the only way I got through the bottle was to use the leave in conditioner.

While I did want volume, I did not want my hair to feel like straw. It was very hard on my hair. The conditioner helped some but not enough. My hair felt very damaged after using this shampoo. I do not recommend this product.

After using this my scalp is dry and itchy with tons of flakes, I have never had dandruff in my life. It's miserable. It also washed the professional color right out of my hair. My hair is frizzy and feels more damaged.

This shampoo claims to increase volume and make your hair look fuller while protecting the color. It may protect the color, not as much color in the tub after only using the shampoo, although there was some but the volumizing was not there for me. Neither the shampoo bottle OR the conditioner bottle that I received say ANYTHING AT ALL ABOUT COLOR CARE, although, that is how it is sold. Will not be ordering this again, completely dissatisfied with this product.

I’m such a big fan of the volumizing conditioner but the shampoo is letting me down. Maybe it’s just me but I just can’t get it to lather up in my hair. I feel like I’m not getting it spread through my hair and am having to use way too much product to get the job done. It does seem to clean my hair okay but it’s such an effort to do it. At this rate, I will go through a whole bottle of shampoo before I get even a third of the way through my bottle of conditioner.

Gets nice and foamy but try as I may I cannot get the pump to pump. I have to take the whole thing off. It's rather irritating and I'm afraid I'm going to knock it over and it's going to spill all over the shower.

It sure takes a lot of this product to spread evenly throughout my hair. I do not like the texture of my hair after using it. I used in conjunction with the "Big Softie" conditioner and I am disappointed. I absolutely hate the texture of my hair and it is incredibly static-y and feels almost sticky.

This shampoo didn't add volume to my hair. It was just like using ordinary shampoo. It was ok. It takes quite a few pumps to get a usable portion out of the container. With arthritis and wet hands this is challenging in the shower.

can't tolerate the smell

Although I like the fact that it is free of sulfates, etc. and it does seem to help with volume the smell is not something that I am able to tolerate. It is very hard to find products that don't have fragrances added to them making it very hard for people with allergies. So far the only product that has not caused me to have respiratory problems is your hair color, the color enhancing treatment.

it is very hard on my hair. I find that it stripped away all of the natural oils and left my hair stiff, straw-like and lifeless. Would not order again.

I have used it twice now and there are no suds to speak of. I use their color enhancer after I wash and get lots of suds with half the amount of product. It is also too expensive for the amount of product that you get.

Sandra - We're sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the amount of foam the product was producing. The lather in shampoos is often caused by sulfates such as sodium lauryl sulfate. While these chemicals cause a pleasing lather they can also strip your hair of moisture and color, which is why all of our products are sulfate-free. If you need a stronger lather, simply add some water the hair where shampoo is applied and massage vigorously. We hope this helps you fall back in love with Big Love Volumzing Shampoo!

I really was hoping I would love this product but it failed the test. It made my hair feel dry and took out my color when it says colorsafe . It is very thin so you have to use a lot and I have very short hair. I do not recommend this shampoo.
