I haven't really noticed a huge difference when using this. My ends tend to turn a little red several weeks after color, so I ordered this to help offset that. I've used it a few times now, but haven't noticed much difference.

I dyed my hair copper from esalon and have used this tint rinse 4 times in between dyes. This always leaves my hair color spotty and uneven. I love the idea of this product which is why I kept trying it to see if it was a user error. But I have stopped using it because it looks really uneven.

I previously tried a lighter shade if tint rinse but it didn’t really do anything. I thought I’d maybe chosen the wrong tint colour and ordered this one instead. I still didn’t notice any difference to my hair whatsoever unfortunately. I love most of the other products in the range but this one just doesn’t seem to be for me.

I have tried this a few times now and my hair always feels greasy after. I also don't notice a difference in my color. I love the esalon hair color but this product doesn't work for me.

While it does make my hair feel silky, I don't see the effect of toning the brassiness out of my hair. Also, the next day my hair feels waxy. It only on the days after I use the tint rinse.

The tint rinse has a lovely thick lather, but sadly it has dried my hair out quite badly 😢. I used a hair mask afterwards for a deep condition, but my ends are still quite dry.

Ich habe es jetzt noch mal mitgeliefert bekommen da ich es vergessen habe aus der Bestellung zu entfernen. Bei der frischen Haarfarbe geht es noch, aber mit der Zeit werden meine Haare damit gelblich. Zumindest erscheint es mir so. Deswegen verwende ich es jetzt nicht mehr.
Vielleicht ist es gut wenn die Haare mehr goldfarben sind.

Thought this would be great after reading all the reviews as it’s highly rated. After using my hair feels dry and still with a fair bit of warmth. Will keep using to see if it eventually works after using a couple more times and maybe use a mask after it to see if it help with the dryness.

Love the color but it’s too strong for my hair made my hair really dry had to do extra hot oil treatment along with mask and conditioner. Although my hair are healthy. I’m afraid to use it again to try one more time less time, but don’t want to take chances.

Tried this product once. Gave a brightness and brought out more of the red tones I was looking for, but made my hair feel like straw and I lost a few handfuls of hair when rinsing it out. Won’t be ordering in the future and won’t be using the remainder.

Did absolutely nothing for my brassy hair

After reading the reviews, I had really high hopes for this product. It seems that most people who used it were using it for the same reason I wanted to try it - brassiness that develops over time with color treated brown hair. I will say that I have quite a lot of grey hair, so maybe that’s why it’s turning brassy, but it’s something that I’ve been struggling with for a couple of years. My hair is light-medium brown with some lowlights, and it seems to just pick up a lot of red undertones. I’d much prefer ash or cool undertones with my skin color. So, when I saw this product I was super excited thinking it’s just what I’ve been looking for - since I’ve pretty much tried everything else, with little success. Nope. I even left it on for 30 minutes. This is just another failed product for me. I did reach out to customer service, and I can return it - minus the shipping cost to mail it back. They encouraged me to try the red neutralizer (this review is specifically for the soft red neutralizer) but I’m not sure I’ll waste the time and money to try another product that I have little hope will work. Overall, I’m disappointed as I really wanted this to work. I’m giving it two stars instead of one because my hair does feel pretty soft after using this 3 times now, though no change in color.

Ich benutze es direkt nach dem Färben und bei den nächsten 2-3 Haarwäschen. Allerdings kann ich dadurch keinen Unterschied in der Farbe feststellen (nach dem Färben ist es etwas zu goldig und die Farbe wurde daraufhin bereits angepasst und ich hoffe auf sichtbare Änderung ), und auch sonst keine Veränderungen im Haar.ich würde es wohl nicht wieder kaufen.

So sitting it on it's head with bottle closed and it all leaked everywhere so the bottle itself is crappy. It didn't seem to add a lot of color just very light. No one could notice it unless I pointed it out and then I think they were just being nice. It did stain my tub took a lot of elbow grease to remove the strain cuz like I said it spilled out all over the place overnight and I had a mess the next day.

I was hoping it'd at least blend the grays a bit, and maybe even darken the highlights temporarily. As far as I can tell - it did nothing. In fact I noticed an area of my hair, several inches from my roots down, that actually looks gray now! I don't know if that is because of the tint rinse or something else, but it definitely didn't help :(

I saw no difference after using this product. I took before and after photos thinking it would finally fix the overall red tint in my hair.. instead, I saw no changes made. Left disappointed.

This made my hair super soft and silky. It smelled wonderful but it didn’t do anything to change my hair color or add anything to it. I tried it twice, last time longer than first and it didn’t do anything. I’ll keep using it because it makes my hair so soft but it just may not work for everyone.

Great reviews for this product; but I've used it two shampoos in a row and am not seeing any change to the unwanted red tones in my hair. Also, I'm not sure what happens in the shower with this product; but after both uses, my hair is very tangled and hard to comb through. While I will probably keep the product and may continue to use it, I don't see me re-purchasing.

While the change in color is subtle, it's not really gold but more orangie. I guess different hair colors produce a different tint result. If this last chance I'm giving eSalon works out, I would try the tint again for that boost, burst of subtle highlights. I do like the wash in tint idea. Take care, stay safe. ~Nansea~

I bought this thinking it would be a much brighter copper than what I got. It dulled my vibrant copper hair down a lot I had to go over it again with a brighter copper colour. I like the idea of this product and it lathered well in my hair but the shade was wrong.

I have been using this every time I shampoo to try and reduce the orange brassiness of my colour. I'm not sure whether it is working or not. My hair is still orange, but perhaps not AS orange as it would be without the tint?

I tried the golden tint rinse I didn't see any shimmer or shine. The product left my hair very dry after rinsing and I needed to condition it twice. I do not think I will use it again.

After reading alot of good things about this I was excited to finally give it a try. I wasn't sure how fast it would work but I've been leaving it on longer and used it several times over a few weeks and it is not changing my colour at all. Plenty of red tones in my hair to be neutralised and no difference at all.
Absolute waste of my money.

I guess I expected more visual results from the Tint Rinse than I saw, but it DID give my hair great shine, like the shine I see right after coloring my hair. My color formula is Medium Brown/Warm Beige so choosing the 'Golden' Tint Rinse might have been "my bad" in that my hair is too dark to see much effect from the 'Golden' tint. I did talk to my eSalon stylist who is kindly sending the 'Warm Beige' shade Tint Rinse with my next order. I realize the Tint Rinse isn't supposed to color grays but other than shine, I would hope for a bit of a color boost in-between full color so we'll see what the 'Warm Beige' does.

I had hoped this would coat my gray hair so that I would have another day or two before I had to color. I noticed a slight difference but not enough. I had to wear my hair up and mist around my hairline to make my grays less noticeable. I still use it because it does slightly cover my growing out gray, but I know it doesn't do exactly what I need in a pinch.

This product was supposed to eliminate red tones from hair but it actually brought out much more red, to the point that it looked as if I had colored my dark brown hair to auburn! It also leaves hair very dry! I called to see if I could return it and was told they only accept product that is sealed and has never been used. So buyer beware!! There is no guarantee on satisfaction on this!

my hair had been light brown for a while and i was growing my roots out in hope this would actually do something, alas, it did not. dont waste your money on this if youre looking to make your hair darker because it neither did that or cancelled brassiness..

eSalon recommended I try this so I did. It isn't visible at all on my dark hair. It left color on my hands though so that was not great. It shouldn't have been recommended for my hair as it's darkest red brown so too dark for this red to make any impact at all.
