Tres facile à appliquer seul bémol il rend les cheveux extrêmement sec il faut faire énormément de soin et sur le long terme.
J'avais déjà fait un Balayage avec un produit
dune autre marque auparavant mais il n ont pas était aussu sec que avec ce kit Balayage

Very poor, this time just no lift , not coming out light blonde but brassy brown auburn , left it in longer and still no good.
Very disappointed.

Although I knew it would be tough applying the first time, it was not nearly as easy as the video showed. Despite using the toner twice, my “highlights” look like the brassy hair that grows out after a month or so of getting highlights. Yellow tint, not a fan.

I don’t think the instructions for applications were very clear. The result was chunkier highlights than I wanted in some areas and the ends didn’t take the highlights well. Still was happy with the result but will apply differently next time

Easy to apply and I was hopeful that going with the dark-medium blonde over a dark beige blonde base color would result in nice cool toned highlights. But the results are…brassy.
I had previously tried the light brown light set formula (on my natural light brown hair) and the same thing happened. I thought maybe it was because the light set for light brown hair was formulated to be more caramel toned highlights (to go better with light/medium brown hair) but it seems that the kits just can’t get me that ashy/cool tone that I covet. Maybe if I was super light blonde? Oh well. Twice bitten and all that.

Just adds to the overall look… I couldn’t believe how easy it was! When the colour is on I was reading I had done it wrong but once rinsed and dried, the lights are so subtle you can’t really go wrong! Love!

I read all the reviews saying the Light Set was easy to use and how great the results were. Brave woman that I am, I thought I’d give it a go. My first attempt was ok the but the results were a little too subtle, though I’d followed the instructions and watched the video. My second time has left me looking like a tiger even though I watched the video again and followed the instructions to the letter again. My base is a dark brown, though I’d started working my way to medium brown. The almost-orange highlights I’m now sporting are not a good look. Luckily, I have an unopened set of eSalon dark brown color that I hadn’t used because I decided to go lighter. Tomorrow I will be coloring my hair dark brown again and PRAYING that I can save this mess.
Incidentally, I’ve been using eSalon color, shampoo, conditioner, and loads of the styling and treatment products since late 2021. I’ve absolutely loved everything else I’ve tried and their customer service is fantastic, too. I’m really bummed and frustrated that I got such awful results when I had really high hopes.

I loved the instructions, ease of use and the product did not damage my hair, was quite conditioning.I did however find that the color was a little more yellowing than I would like. Wondering if I need to keep the product in longer or if there is a lighter shade that may work better? WIll definitely use again!

This is really good for at-home highlighting! It’s my go-to! I recommend for sure! The only reason I didn’t give it all 5 stars is because it doesn’t have as much lasting power after a few washes as other at-home highlight kits I’ve used. I use it for precise, baby highlights. It does seem to be very safe on my hair and non-damaging. I would like it even better if it had a bit more colorfastness after a few shampoos. It tends to get brassier a little earlier than others I’ve tried but I combat this with anti-brass masks.

This kit is extremely easy to use. Just watch the how-to videos on the eSalon website or even YouTube videos of people using this kit and follow the instructions. I personally started the highlights from below my ears down and it gave me a very nice melt of light brown to blonde balyage and highlights. I got so many compliments and people can't people I did my hair at home. I will definitely be using this kit again and highly recommend.

I love light set! I have spent so much on highlights in the salon and sometimes they turned out to light or spotty and I paid alot. I have also tried highlights at home and got a really bad yellow result and had to get my hair fixed after trying to just save money I ended up spending more. This product was easy to use and the result was perfect carmel not brassy highlights. I love it and will continue to use this everytime I want highlight!!

Okay, so I had another look at my hair and I thought it was decent. I need to work on how I sweep upwards, but also be sure to saturate strands and alternate from side to side. If you have thick, southeast Asian dark brown hair like mine, start with 30min first. I did and found I could probably go to 35min next time, but also I need to be more precise with my painting on the strands. I have to say I’m not the most coordinated person as well, so if I can do it, you can. Btw, I would suggest giving it a couple of his before giving up. The next day, I felt it blended decently and the next time around, it will look even better. Just wanted to update that it looks really nice this time around. Again, needed a couple of adjustments, but will never go back to an expensive salon again.

I love this company, I sent a picture of the color of my hair and they got it correct the first time. If you need help ordering you just call them and you get a live person. In this day and age it's very hard to get help over the the phone. I'm looking to change my hair color and I'm not scared because I know this company is professional and knows what they are doing.

I followed the instructions and my hair is actually even lighter so it should work but got I got soo brassy it’s horrible and now I have to pay €150 for hairdresser to fix my balayage. Really not happy!!!!!

I was so nervous to try this, but I’m so happy I did. I’ve never had highlights before because I’m always just doing my roots. The instructions made it so easy to do & I love how it turned out, so pretty & makes my hair look so much fuller.

I am very DIFFICULT to color, especially when lightening. I haven't had a stylist yet who has listened to me and hasn't had to color correct several times when coloring my hair. My hair is fine and SOAKS up color like a sponge, whether light or dark. I missed my stylist appointment and ordered a kit from Madison Reed to "gently multidimensionally lighten" my dark brown dull hair and it turned it BLACK and I took it off TEN minutes early!!!! I was horrified. They refunded my money after seeing pictures. I was so upset. I don't have time to wait and have an event coming up so I figured it was already messed up, so I'd try gentle highlights.
I was more generous in the distribution then the video showed (added more highlights), because my hair is SO dark, but I only left processing time for 12 minutes instead of the recommended 35 (I was afraid due to my history), I should have left it on a little longer (maybe 5 minutes), however I am VERY pleased with how it turned out. They look professional: gentle, caramel brown highlights that turn mahogany in the sun. Subtle and adds beautiful dimension! my hair no longer looks black and it looks like I had it styled. Very natural. THANKS AGAIN!

The directions were confusing, my whole head is almost blond and I did do strips, not all over. I have obvious spots near my root where it was not lightened. I'll never do this again, even if the directions were better.

I have thick coarse long hair and the instructions to take a strand of hair and run the brush upwards with the gunky color mixture was a disaster. It tangled my hair impossibly and strands of my hair wrapped around the brush and I had to pull the hair out to get the brush untangled. the bottom 3-4 inches of my hair were ruined. I had to get a drastic hair cut and furthermore there was no color lightening. I ask for a refund for this product and I highly recommend that you amend your instructions warning clients with hair like mine to avoid using an upward motion to apply,

Ma coiffeuse a mis la couleur et ensuite effectuer balayage sur meme t’émis de pose et je n ai aucune mèche cela ne fonctionne pas du tout elke ça revenir avec des produits et refaire balayage avec ses produits a elle je suis désolée car entre prix produit 60 euro j ai payé 50 euro à elle sa prestation et vraiment déçue elle dit que. Would be nice to have a video for senior women who have thinning hair. Using my own hair to experiment was scary. Turned out okay… Will know better if I do again. Not everyone has hair like your models 🙂

I feel I've gotten really good at this. The first couple times I made mistakes but was able to get personal help from the eSalon colorists, after that, I've seen amazing results. By the way, if they say steep slopes, they mean STEEP slopes. That was the trick that made my results look pro!

I left this on for half of the suggested time and it absolutely destroyed my hair. I followed the technique in the video which shows large sections of hair in the front so the whole front of my hair looks fried.

This light set gave me great highlights. One use, but through several colorings my highlights keep showing through. One note, it will dry your hair, so condition well and use the Bonacure moisture mist to replenish that moisture lost.

I had virgin dark blonde hair to begin with, followed directions to the letter and anywhere the dye touched (meaning once you’ve pieced and painted sections and laid it against unlightened hair) it became a patchwork of uneven yellow mess. I’m really surprised at how much it bled onto the rest of my hair looking as if I drowned the whole head. Did I use too much product? It didn’t seem so. Used the toner as directed and while soaking the ten minutes I began to hope as it was looking less drastic. Rinsed and now I have dry, yellow patchy hair. I’ll be wearing hats for a while until I can figure out what to do. Kicking myself that I bought two sets thinking I’d do it again!

I have carefully watched the video tutorials and instructions, but they are not useful. I follow the steps in the video to highlight, but the color is very abrupt above my head. This makes my hair very ugly. I have to wear a hat when I go out and buy hair dye to correct my hair color!

I was petrified of doing at-home highlights but between masks and my income changing, my box dye brown was looking kinda sad. So, I ordered the Light Set and am amazed at my results! The eSalon toner is key! I now have multidimensional, golden (not orange) blonde, natural looking highlights. I always pull orange but this formula is perfect. Instead of doing six larger sections, I finger painted tiny strands all over my head, across three layers of hair. It requires some patience but so worth the effort. Just remember to tone the full fifteen minutes and really saturate each and every section of your hair.

Highlights have come out orange and my hair looks horrible.
To fix it I have to dye my whole hair multiple times which I really didn’t want to do due to hair damage. Really disappointed and know my hair is ruined for the next year until this grows out long enough to chop it off.
I’ve been told afterwards that my hair catches to colour really well and that 35 minutes is way to long. There shouldn’t be a flat rate of time to leave highlights in. Really disappointed and upset on how much extra money I will have to spend and hair damage I will have to endure to keep covering this section of hair up until it’s long enough to chop off.

My hair has gotten very gray/white since I started using esalon. My roots were so much lighter then the color I hd been using that I used a light kit to strip my hair. I coated my hair in argon oil and then went for it. After lightening I colored my hair the requested lighter shade. Damage? My hair feels WAY more healthy then before. Love love love.

This highlighting set did wonders for my hair. It added so much dimension and gave the perfect sunkissed glow. Love the light set but initially it looks brassy. Takes a few washes to blend in with my ash brown color. Gets lots of compliments then as it looks more natural. Would love one that is not so brassy originally. Thanks

I liked this product, however not used it on me. You need someone else to work on your hair so it doesn't look choppy. Strands must be secure so they don't touch your colored hair.

First time I used this product it did nothing. The second time I used it, I went in with a heavier hand and all it did was turn my hair very warm, not nearly as light as I was hoping. I used their pro toner but my hair is still more brassy than I like.

Since our lightener is progressive, your highlights will lighten with each application for increased depth and dimension. So while your next Light Set kit will be the same formulation as your last one, the results will be lighter than they were before. The more you highlight, the lighter they will get! For best results, make sure you apply the lightener to your previously highlighted strips of hair. Leider schaffe ich es nicht, die Farbe so ebenmäßig aufzutragen, dass das Ergebnis gleichmäßig wird. Zwei breite Strähnen am Gesicht (wie es derzeit "in" ist) sind super hell und strahlend geworden, die schmaleren Strähnen am Hinterkopf aber nur leicht aufgehellt und nicht gleichmäßig. Vielleicht ist dieses Set einfach nichts für mich. Schade.

I used this and got obvious change of colour marks on the strand which stood out rather a lot. Plus the hair was very much lighter, probably my fault, maybe over processed. So beware , get the technique right ! I actually got a great result by using a spare colour (an e-salon one) all over and now the high lights are perfect.
Right or wrong it worked and covered my mistake so not such a disaster more a salon looking finish !

I watched the how to video and read the directions each three times. Parting my hair took a half hour. I followed the directions exactly but the highlight above my left ear and one on the part on top ended up way too light. I wear my hair up a lot and it's really obvious.

I used this once and it really, really dried out my hair. If you have thicker hair it may work fine for you, but for fine hair, I would not recommend it.

There was not enough of the lightening mixture. By the time I reached my top sections I had completely run out resulting in no highlights on top and just through the mid sections of my hair….it looks awful.

Ayant les cheveux blond à blond foncés, j'ai opté pour le balayage "Blond clair", car je voulais avoir un effet retour de vacances dans les cheveux.
J'ai tout de suite été très contente du produit, dès sa réception. Les produits se trouvent dans une boite. 2 paires de gants sont fournis, et même le pinceaux ! Il est d'ailleurs réutilisable. C'est vraiment très pratique de le fournir avec, alors merci.
Le produit se mélange très facilement, ça sent un peu fort, mais c'est normal. Par contre, l'odeur se dissipe vite, et ne reste pas longtemps. Certains autres produits, d'autres marques sentent vraiment fort, et l'odeur reste longtemps ... Mais pas avec celui-ci !
L'application à été très simple. Tout est bien indiqué. Vous avez même une vidéo en ligne si vous ne savez pas comment faire.
Pour le résultat, je suis à 100% satisfaite ! C'est exactement ce que je recherchais : Un effet retour de vacances, soleil et mise en lumière dans mes cheveux. Les mèches ont très bien pris et j'ai pu obtenir un joli blond clair sur les mèches balayées. Ça se fond très bien avec l'ensemble de mes cheveux. Bref, j'en suis ravie.
Pour les cheveux, ils sont un peu secs après, mais rien d'anormal vu qu'il s'agit d'un balayage.
Gros + pour les soins fournis avec ! Le shampoing m'a fait 1 seule utilisation, mais le format du masque est super et généreux, il m'en reste pour les prochaine fois.
Je pense que je vais rester sur cette marque pour mes futurs balayages !

I have had good results with this kit. No, it doesn’t look like the professional highlights I would get in the salon, but it gave my medium brunette hair depth, and gave it a sun-kissed look, very natural. I found best results are when I apply to VERY small amounts (like 5-10 strands) rather than the wider strands of hair. I’d rather have more highlights with smaller bits of hair, rather than fewer highlights with large chunks of hair. Watch the videos online,they were very helpful. And have some wet paper towels available if you need to wipe off your fingers between strands.

Trying to do this on your own even after years of coloring is a joke. I have medium brown hair and my highlights turned out more orange than anything else. And they were really chunky, I have thin hair, so this process did not work well on me. I think the instructions for thin hair should be different for thick hair. I tried to contact them 2 times and didn't get anything back, so I colored my hair again using store bought color. Saved me! I will still use my normal esalon, because it does seem heathier than store bought color.

I’m a dark brunette, the highlights add such a natural dimension to your hair. The good thing, you can add little or a lot of highlights. For me, a little and it’s perfect!

Really liked the results. It is easier than the more general coloring process (the two bottle roots and ends or the roots alone) but I still need a bit of practice on my technique. I took too long with the "horseshoe" and top "bun" so the very first two small sections i did came out too light vs the rest. Not a biggie-- I can tuck them behind my ears.

I was happy with how easy it was. The color did come up really brassy and that was after the toner. I'm glad I did have more toner left cause I used it again the next day and left it in for 20 mins that time and it helped some and while using the tint rinse also. But it did look better. after it just wasn't the color I was wanting to achieve. But im still somewhat happy

I love a nice subtle highlight moment and this is by far my favorite highlighting kit. You just can't go wrong with it and even if you make a mistake it just blends well. I have had to do a few times to get the lightness I want as I find it's very very subtle, but I would definitely continue to buy. My only advice if you have long hair, you will need two or a bigger amount. I always justttt have enough when highlighting. Wish there was a bit more product.

I didn't have enough light set to highlight the top section of my hair. :( So I have highlights on my bottom sections but not around my face. Also my highlights turned out a very warm tone.

Orange hair

My hair turned orange. I contacted my colorist who replied quickly and asked if I would be willing to try another kit and toning mask. My hair turned orange again. The toner did nothing. When I sent pictures she said I can see the orange tones and said at my cost I could try it again. Now I’m stuck with orange hair.

My results are the perfect sun-kissed look! I am very impressed! I’ve paid a lot of money for less results and it’s always brassy. The highlights are perfectly blended for my base color (also eSalon)-no harsh contrast, just a beautiful, slight lift, it looks like I was in the sun.Thank you eSalon!!

I FINALLY got the highlights I have spent years asking for! I have super dark brown hair and have always wanted the most subtle lightening of the pieces around my face and down on my ends. I was able to place the highlights exactly where I wanted them and lighten to exactly the color I wanted. After spending thousands over the years in the salon, getting a head full of foils when I only wanted subtle highlighting, I am finally satisfied! I respect hair stylists 100% because this was a bit of a challenge and I did get a little nervous and wash it out too early but it still came out how I wanted. I’m going to order again this summer!

I swear I followed the instructions….. the first layer went well, the second layer not quite as good and the third and final layer… oh boy! Disaster. It’s very blond. Luckily it’s just hair and it will grow out.

I haven't gotten the chance to fully highlight my hair but what I have been able to do looks good. It was very easy and I plan to do it again when my color is what I want all the time.
