It didn't work well for thick curly hair and wasn't nearly as good as the conditioner that comes with the color.
It was very difficult to get out of the container.
Pls send me refund or a replacement of something better.

This cannot be the same shampoo that I get with my color package. There are no suds. The reason I bought it is because I love the shampoo that comes with the color. Sorry but I won’t buy it again.

I bought this shampoo and conditioner set after LOVING the set that comes with the color kit. I’m not sure if it’s a different product or it just doesn’t work great long term but it does nothing for my hair. Maybe I should have bought something smoothing or with more conditioning for dry hair but this leaves my hair dry and unmanageable. Very disappointed.

I’m really not at all impressed with the shampoo & conditioner from eSalon- It’s so generic. There isn’t anything at all to make me look forward to using it- no luscious lather, no wonderful scent , doesn’t detangle. It’s just blah and drying... won’t buy again

I like having the shampoo because I find the small packet they send in the color package to be insufficient to wash out my hair after coloring. Having an extra bottle around is nice for this purpose. However, the price is outrageous, especially since I cannot buy the shampoo separately, and I won't be buying it any more.

This combo it great for use to help keep your color longer. However, I have rather dry hair and the conditioner just doesn't work good enough for my hair. I have to use another conditioner.

This shampoo and conditioner seems about the same as any low-cost product. I wouldn't say it's any better than Suave, for example. It also comes in a pretty small bottle, so it doesn't last very long.

Sulfate is an ingredient that gives shampoo it's suds, but it can be drying and strip your hair of color. Utterly useless. I suppose the shampoo is OK but the conditioner is useless. Didn't condition the hair-- it remained "rough" and tangled. I had to re-condition it with a commercial conditioner for color treated hair to comb through it. Don't waste your money.

Too Thick

It keeps my hair tangle free, but it just seems so thick. I can't even squeeze it out using the end of the tube. I have to take the whole top off to get some to squirt/plunck out. Then some ends up on the ground. Then I worry about how something so thick could be good for my hair, maybe weighing it down some.

I got it since I was running out and I was already ordering color. I asked for color safe shampoo and this might be it and it might work but I couldn’t really tell. The labels say nothing about being safe for chemically treated hair or has any indication that it protects color.

Glad to "save" my color from shampoos and conditioners that strip color. But I miss the soft condition I get from my old shampoo & conditioner, so I tend to alternate these with my Nexxus products.

This particular shampoo and conditioner leaves my hair feeling heavy and then gets greasy incredibly fast. No matter how much I rinse I feel like there’s still a film, I guess you could say, on my hair. It’s just not for my hair type I guess. Smells amazing though.

The shampoo and conditioner leaves your hair smelling great. I wish the product was a little creamier though as it was hard to suds up. The conditioner also didn’t leave my hair as soft as I would have liked it to.

I checked the ingredients list on line before ordering and once I received the shampoo I see the bottle list says it contains limonene (of which gives me a rash). I’ll give this away. The conditioner doesn’t list it so I will try it and see if I get a reaction.

1st the bottle size. I don't think the price I paid even at 50% discount was worth it. The conditioner is nice but again the size of the bottle was way too small. With my thick curly long hair, it would run out within 2 weeks.

Ich habe sehr dickes Haar und ich brauche zu viel Shampoo. Ich muss mit diesem Shampoo meine Haare zwei mal waschen. Erst dann habe ich das Gefühl das der Schaum richtig in die Haare kommt.
Dafür ist mir das Produkt zu teuer.
Bei der Spülung ist es ok.

After using the samples in my color kit I decided to switch when I ran out of my former shampoo. I love the smell but overall this just isn't the product for me. I felt like I needed to triple shampoo to really get clean hair, and even then after my hair dried it felt gunky even though I don't use product in my hair. The conditioner didn't seem to do much either. I really wanted to love this shampoo because I do love the smell (which I'm very picky about) and I like that it pairs well with the esalon color, but it just didn't work on my hair.

My review is not on the shampoo but the highlighter kit. My hairdresser used it on my hair following the directions exact and the results were less then expected. Barely observable. Very disappointed. Joanne Walchak

After I started dying my hair I wanted to make sure that the color would have a gentle wash, so I purchased the esalon shampoo and conditioner- classic. After using it for a couple washes I noticed that each time I washed my hair with this product my hair was falling out in clumps and was clogging up my shower drain as well. I actually mean a lot of hair was coming out during the shower.... I couldn’t figure out what was going on I’ve never used a product that was causing my hair to fall out. This product seems gentle and don’t smell strong, however I am extremely disappointed that I spent $30 on a shampoo and conditioner that I now have thinning hair from.

Duo smells great, but I think it was the wrong product for me, my hair still felt a bit dry after coloring. I’m planning on trying the moisturizing formula, I will post again soon.

After shampooing, my hair was very tangled. Adding the conditioner did nothing to help with the tangles. This alo left my scalp itchy. The smell is very nice but will not purchase again.

Votes are still out on Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner Duo. Only colored my hair two weeks ago so unsure if products truly protect or prolong the color. My hair feels soft but lacks luster and shine. The containers are small for the price and lack glamour appeal. Miss the fragrance of my usual products.

I am not impressed with this duo. It’s pretty small for the price and it’s just average for a color care shampoo. I wanted to be super impressed and was not. I won’t order it again.

I got original duo, instead of this one. And because I wanted color change my entire order was delayed so I couldn't dye by Thanksgiving and was charged 3 weeks before receiving products I was not aware in cart as it was never confirmed expect this shampoo conditioner duo but didn't get it and was sent other items and I need to look into what I was charged vs what I received...and find out if they even match. As I had things in the cart as they were special priced items...

Love the product! But not the bottle the bottle is so strong it’s difficult to squeeze the product out fortunately I was able to take a pump from another product and use which made it easier to dispense. My suggestion is include a pump device to go on the bottle rather than making us try to squeeze the product out.

I tried this shampoo and conditioner combo but am not impressed. The conditioner is thin but makes my hair too soft, and the shampoo is just ok. I will not repurchase and will continue to use my Redken products for volume and color-treated hair.
