I wasn’t really sure if this would make any difference to my hairs appearance. I was wrong my hair stayed looking good well beyond it usual couple of days in fact I could probably left it even longer which for someone with mid length thick wavy hair is a definite big plus as it take so long to dry and style .. Will purchase again but think this tube will last a while only use a pea sized amount but will be a future repeat purchase.

Smells awesome and makes hair super soft as does shampoo and conditioner. Just wasn't sure if I could use with the color protector
I got this product about a month ago so have used it several times. It really does get rid of the frizz on my natural curly hair which has dry areas that only frizz! The only issue (and the reason I only gave 4 stars) is the way it's packaged. The product seems to separate and I need to shake it every time or my first dollop is just watery liquid. It's hard to shake a tube, it would be better in a bottle.

Of the 3 eSalon de-frizz products I've tried, this was the best of the 3. Still didn't help much (I just have too many spit ends).
Note if you don't use it regularly, the product separates. Shake well!

It is a nice frizz control, but not what I like for me, by the end of the day makes my hair flat, but this could be because my hair is a bit thinner than some, thicker hair does better with the Velvet Primer.

I noticed using the velvet primer the first time it made my hair feel softer. I had not results with helping my frizz. In fact the primer made the frizz worse. Never have I found a product to stop the frizz. Very disappointed.

This product has great reviews so I thought I’d give it a try. I have very unruly, frizzy hair but this didn’t calm it down much. I still had to use a flat iron to achieve control. My hair didn’t respond to it like others have claimed.

I've used the velvet primer a couple of times now. I don't like the substance and the smell seems off.
It's very thin and the second time I used it there was a big puddle of watery liquid coming out before a more thicker substance. I kneaded the tube and now it's a little thicker but I'm not going to use it anymore.
I loved the universal leave in conditioner but that's constantly out of stock. Hopefully you will be bringing it back soon.

Bought this product to help with frizz. Does help with minimizing frizz. The downside is that it leaves my hair limp. At first my curls look full and shiny. After a short time, my hair looks flat. I was really excited to try this product, but it made my hair feel bad and unmanageable. It felt really nice on my damp hair, but once I dried it, my hair felt dry and straw-like and was more tangled than usual. I waited for the Velvet Primer to use instead of the Universal Leave-In. Truthfully I am not impressed. The fragrance is really nice but I do not get frizz-free smooth styling. The product is thin and light-weight which might be a good thing for thin or fine hair. But I have thick curly hair and a more substantial product would work better for me. I like to wash and wear because blow drying and flat ironing take so much time. I was hoping Velvet Primer would work better for my hair. Unfortunately it falls short.

At first I tried using the pea sized amount that they said for my long hair. It didn't do much of it all and it just felt frizzy. So the next time I added a little more about (two pea sizes) and then it seems so heavy and greasy. I've tried using it a few more times and just can't seem to get it to work properly. I've been using another combing cream / leave in for years that's available in grocery stores and it works better. This just didn't seem to work for my hair and seems really fussy.

I bought this to help keep the ends of my long hair from frizzing. It seems to be gooey and makes it tangle. Not what I was expecting at all

I typically don't submit reviews but this product made my hair feel so awful. I used the amount recommended on the directions and it still did nothing for my hair. My hair felt and looked super frizzy! I was excited to try this product out but was disappointed in the results.

I'm not sure what this is supposed to do or if I'm supposed to use it without any other styling products, but I didn't notice anything different. Maybe it's just me.

I've only used this product once. Next time I will use more of it and then decide. It's hard to find emollient and moisturizing products for my hair. Although I love eSalon for my color I'm not impressed with their products for me. I have a lot of products I'm not using because there just isn't enough moisture. Bed Head/Dump Blonde and Schwarzkopf are my go-to products. Sorry eSalon.

I really really wanted to love this but for some reason it felt like my hair had a film on it? I was expecting it to be slick and soft but it felt kind of like when you don't rinse out all of your conditioner? I only used a pea size so not sure what I didn't incorrect.

Maybe it's because my hair is super frizzy due to a disaster perm, but this product doesn't do much for me. It smells nice, but for me, Redkin's Frizz Dismiss oil-in-serum works better.

I have used this product 3 times. So disappointed in the claims made. I found no difference in how my hair looked and felt after using. I love the hair color and was really excited about getting this product. I probably will just stick to the hair color only.
