As we know any change to your natural color will eventually wash out. This shampoo allows your color to last longer, smells great, and leaves your hair feeling healthy and soft but I would suggest combining it with the conditioner.
Definitely helps to repaired damaged hair. It doesn't ravage your color but I did feel that my color faded faster then when using the color saving shampoo.

I love the products and usually the service of eSalon. However, I still have not gotten my most recent order and I was hoping to get it before the holidays. Very sad.
I haven’t tried anything yet, still to soon to color after the last color kit you sent. Also I will be going back to 3110 Christine Street, Pensacola Florida 32526 after May 16th,
I bought the repair color care shampoo and conditioner when I noticed that my hair was starting to look really dry and straw-like. I noticed a difference after only one application and love the way it makes my hair feel. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was that I'm not a big fan of how it smells.
I highly recommend getting this product. Its pricey but will help with the color. The first round was great lasted FOREVER (Months). No fading. But every order after that, wasnt so good. Color not staying in or changing al together. I wanted the darkest brown but by the end of the week, my hair turned red.
It's ok. Honestly, I didn't notice anything special about this shampoo. I was hoping to have more moisturized hair. It remains as dry as ever, with or without this shampoo.
I love the REPAIR shampoo and conditioner, but not the condition is how they arrived. When I opened the bag they where packaged in, there was shampoo spilled all inside the bag. The shampoo had leaked out...
Great shampoo but just too pricey if like me you have a family that includes teenage girls who pinch your shampoo! I would need to order two bottles a month which isn’t going to happen. If you have boys or a lock on the bathroom cabinet - treat yourself!
Used it while on holiday, and it left my hair soft, and bouncy for first 24 hours, then seemed to fall flat, and needed washed again after only two days. Could be due to being away from home, doing different activities? Will probably buy it again in the future.
It’s me, but I miss the foam on the first application of the shampoo. I feel like I have to use a lot or it isn’t going to clean my hair. The second application is better, but still not much foam. Makes hair soft, clean and shinny though :)
This product made my hair feel absolutely fantastic but unfortunately it is no good for a sensitive scalp, after 4 days of use my head was itching like mad.
The product lives up to it's name. Does what it claims to do. I find my hair isn't breaking or falling out like it used to. Is a little too pricey for the size.
I have rated this shampoo as a 4, however it's through no fault of the shampoo. I had a stroke several years ago which changed the texture of my hair. It is now very frizzy and dry. Also, I recently burned it with a curling iron, making it much worse. Gaining Strength gave its all and has helped to a degree, but I cannot fault the shampoo at all. Due to your 7th Birthday Sale, I will be purchasing other products which look extremely promising to help my long-time-ago beautiful locks.
It's not earth shattering for me but I've only used it once so I don't think I can leave a fair review, it's just okay for right now, not bad but not super fascinating, only time will tell!
The shampoo itself has a great consistency and lathers well. The pump is not the best as it doesn't put out as much as I would like. But it still works fine. The fragrance is good for some, but not my preference of scents. It does do what it advertises though. I will probably continue to use because it does work well.
This is a great shampoo when compared what you can buy on the commercial market; however I am not convinced that it "repaired" my hair. I still experienced frizz which I had hope to eliminate. All in all it was a decent shampoo.
I haven't really felt a difference with this shampoo in my hair but I think it's just because I switch between so many of them but I just don't really reach for this one much and the pump pumps out such a small amount
Since using the esalon shampoos, the quality of my hair has changed for the better, it is softer with less frizzy. The only drawback is that I have to use a lot...I have very thick hair. There is little foam, so it's hard to judge how clean your hair is until you rinse. I found one way to make sure you are spreading it evenly is to section your hair... down middle, on the sides and in the back and spread a nickel to quarter size dollop evenly down your parts.
The packaging and bottle of all lovely and the consistency of thr shampoo looked good but it just didn't do it for my hair I read about this shampoo and really had a lot of expectation, sadly I didn't get it.
I don't like scents in products and this shampoo has a little hint of a scent but it lathers really well and I love to use every day. Mild on my color shine.
My hair seems to be breaking off less and my spit ends are at a minimum. This is a great shampoo when used with its conditioner partner. My only complaint is I'm not a fan of the smell. It is not bad, but a little too perfume like for me. Its not bad enough to stop me from using this shampoo though.
I wanted a color safe shampoo that would help me with my long hair.
I want to keep it healthy and strong, as I am older, this isn't all that
easy to do.
I really love the shampoo! It made my hair look and feel great but it took a lot for my long hair and ran out too soon. I only wash my hair about every three days so I was disappointed that the shampoo did not last very long.
This shampoo lathers up and works great to help make my hair soft and feel stronger. Only thing I don't like is the bottle size! I wish it was bigger with a pump that dispensed a bit more on each pump.
The very first that comes to my mind when I think of this shampoo is smell it just smells amazing and its been 2 weeks that I am using this shampoo my hair looks volume and have to wait for the hair fall control.I feel like its been in control some what but I think I still need to wait :)

Smells as if you’ve just freshly coloured your hair (chemical odour) and left hair feeling as if you hadn’t actually fully rinse the shampoo (although I even got back into the shower afterward for another rinse, just to make sure). It did seem to be very moisturizing though (the only reason why it got two stars instead of one), but I threw it out after using it for a couple days, as I really didn’t like the way it left my hair feeling and smelling.

For the same reason as I didn't find value in the repair conditioner.. I don't feel my hair benefited in much repair. Still frizzy and breakage. I find the straight hair shampoo leaves my hair in better condition.

I didn't find it gave me the results that my hair color order shampoo and conditioner did....I maybe am ordering the wrong product that they send you to use after you color your hair? It didn't smell the same either...im not sure ill order again.

I haven't read all the reviews, but based on the few I glanced over, I am wondering if I got a skunked bottle of shampoo. Mine smells like faintly floral Crisco. It's got this rancid oil smell that seriously makes me gag. I'm trying to use it anyway since it wasn't cheap (the conditioner doesn't have the same offensive odor, thank goodness), but I will never buy it again. Like I said, I can't say either way if it's good shampoo. I mean, I guess my hair looks fine after I use it, but no different than any of my other shampoos that don't make me want to vomit in the shower.

I really like the color but it seems to wash away after 2 weeks. Its not what I expected. I wish it was since it looks nice for like 2 weeks then its dull and I just don't like it. I give up. Ill just go back to the salon at least it will last a few more weeks.

I purchased the repair shampoo after my wonderful experience at my original introduction session. I loved the way it felt in my hair. I have naturally curly 3B-ish type hair. About 3 weeks into using it, I developed lots of build up and am having to use weekly ACV rinses to get my hair and scalp back on track. I ended up using it as hand soap. Very expensive hand soap. I was so bummed!

When I opened the box the product had leaked all over the place. The box itself was not dented and neither was the bottle of product. It was a mess to clean it all off the other items I purchased.

This shampoo makes my hair dry as hay. Even the shampoo packet that comes with the dye kit leaves my hair horribly dry. I thought the repair condioner would counteract the effects of the shampoo, but no. It was just as bad. These products were a complete fail for me. Drug store shampoo/conditioner worked better than this.

I had used the old version of this for some time and I loved it. This new product does not have a pleasing smell, it leaves my hair feeling weighed down and coated. I am not at all pleased with the change you made. If its not broken don't fix it! You had a fabulous product and I would use nothing else. Now I am searching for a new shampoo.

I was so disappointed with this shampoo. It was hard to get it to lather, my hair was one huge knot afterwards, and I lost a lot of hair (at least 4 times as much as normal!!).

Sulfate is an ingredient that gives shampoo it's suds, but it can be drying and strip your hair of color. The shampoo is ok. I dont know if the shampoo is my problem or the water. The water is filtered because it is hard water with a lot of calcium.

I’m so disappointed in this shampoo! I read all the reviews before I purchased it and I’m extremely disappointed in this product. My hair felt stiff, tangled, and not the least bit soft. I will not be purchasing the conditioner now.
