This is not a bad product, but probably would like it better if the applicator wan did not get caught in my hair. I would like to have the option to have a sponge or tooth brush type wan to apply touch-up color.

This product covers the gray very well. It blends in with my color nicely but.... once it is in my hair it is so stiff that if I try to comb my hair or run my hands through my hair I feel it and it bugs me.

Love all products so far, but the temporary root touch up just wasn't effective. Seemed dried out... couldn't get enough on the small applicator. Gave up after applying to part and temple areas... followed instructions..washed hair. Nothing. On the other hand, sill love all other products. Best hair color ...better that all the salons who have attempted to color my red hair.

I bought this product to touch of some of the grey hairs that seem to pop up in my part before the rest of my hair color needs to be redone. I tried the product 4 or 5 times, trying various techniques, and it always made my part very sticky and kind of greasy looking. I like to have my hair kind of tousled looking and where I used the touch up it was heavy and sticky. The color was good and it did temporarily hide the grey, but it made my hair look bad in general when I used it, so I wouldn't recommend.

This product did not touch-up my roots, it put a layer of gunk that made me need to wash my hair as soon as possible. Threw the temporary root touch-up away. I will never "root gunk-up" my hair again.

The touch-up worked pretty well but, didn't really blend as well as I had hoped. Also, where applied, it made my hair feel very stiff and sticky. After washing the color appears to be gone but, my hair still feels very stiff and sticky. It's made it very hard to comb through and very hard to part like it normally does. Hope you can help with these issues. Thanks.

I was really disappointed with the "Color Kiss". It made my hair clumpy and hard and it looked awful on my hair. Almost looked like I got dried mascara on my hair. I've tried it a couple of times and had the same results so just threw it out! Disappointed with this product since I love so many of the other ones!

It was hard to use the brush/comb. It sticks to my other hair when I'm trying to color the gray ones. It doesn't grab/cover the target area. Will not buy again.

Unfortunately I don't like this product as it makes my hair feels dirty and it starts to itch.

Takes a few runs of the wand to cover up the root grays. As a result, hair clumps where I touch-up. The direction says to comb it with the mini-comb when dry. When its dry, the comb doesn't run through easily. Dye goes on my fingers when I finger comb my hair. Hair feels course where touch-up is applied.

I don't like this product as much as the others I have purchased. The consistancy is not really to my liking, but I do use it from time to time between hair coloring.

I was not impressed with this touch up stick. It was slow to apply and it made my hair feel stiff and dry!

I use eSalon hair color and based on my personalized hair color (medium to dark brown) eSalon recommended I get dark brown root touch up. It is way too dark and did not blend well enough with the wand. If in doubt, choose a lighter color for this product.
I will admit I have always preferred a cover-up that goes on like a powdered eye-shadow because that type of cover up blends better and does not leave spatters of color in my sink or on my clothes. Esalon, please consider offering this other kind of cover-up.

This product is pretty worthless. It is difficult to apply, always snags on my hair, the coverage is spotty at best, and the color doesn't blend. There are better products out there.

I am absolutely in love with other eSalon products but this absolutely did not work for me at all. Zero coverage and it left my roots looking unwashed and sticky so I'm really disappointed and really can't recommend this product. Sorry.

I have just received this and tried it out. It has given good coverage, but I would say the colour is dark brown, and not light brown. It has covered the grey roots that were showing, but the hairline is now darker than the rest of my hair, which is light golden brown.

Nothing about this is nice - the stuff is clumpy and seemed to wear off - like I find grey and see the brown on other stuff- I had been getting the spray stuff and really enjoying it but it's been out of stock for months - gave this a try - stick with the spray stuff.

I guess I could just go buy some mascara and use that for coverup. It left my roots stiff and dull until I washed it out. This could be so much better if it was actual root color....maybe sell a small container of our colors so that we can quickly touch up in between colors. I don't know, maybe it's difficult to make a small size.

This blonde was quite a bit dark for my hair colour, but, blondes are hardest to blend, unfortunately it accentuated my roots. The formula is a bit claggy too.

This root touch up does cover grays, but it feels waxy and hard and also leaves build up in hair that is hard to get out even after washing . Not a big fan of this. I would rather just color early than have to use this product. I haven't tried other cover ups before so not sure how it compares to other products on the market.

I'm not sure but I have not had any luck with your hair care products besides my hair color. Perfect Ending was great, but now makes my hair droop. It could be my hair has changed. The root touch up does not go on easily and is clumpy when it does. Then when it dries it is hard and looks fake on the roots. I love the hair color, but will not get anymore of your products and would like to send some back....

I didn't like this product at all (it might be the only product I haven't liked from eSalon). It doesn't work in wet hair so since i don't blowdry my hair it doesn't work (when i had long hair). I also found it went on and stayed sticky. Just not the right product for me,

You have to put this on then use the comb end once it dries or else it gets clumpy. If you are all over grey at roots like me this product is not really effective.

This product is very difficult to comb into your roots. Once it's in, you are supposed to let it dry and then brush it through with the other side of the wand - but it is a sticky and clumpy mess. Very disappointing from the company I recommend to everyone I know.

Just like any root touch up, it's not a permanent fix, so you can't expect a miracle, but this went on like mascara and left my roots stiff and weird looking. If you aren't styling your hair to be in the same position all day, I wouldn't spend my money on it.

The color is great, it blended well, but it's too sticky and dull even when it was dry which made the small brush and comb useless.

This covered my gray hair great. It did however leave a thick, heavy and tacky texture on my hair. I didn't use it again . It was very hard to comb through (step 2) with the brush provided.

I love the idea of this product, but the dark red literally turns out looking black! I am naturally a dark blonde/grey, so this was a very stark contrast to my natural roots growing out. It did not match my red color at all. It would be better as a lighter color even though the color in the picture shows that it might have been a match.

Lately my color shipment has made my hair dull or brassy. We tried tweaking the formula, and it became so ashy and looked awful with my skin tone. I must admit, the colorist was help full, but I've decided to cancel my subscription & go back to the salon. My color is gorgeous now!!

This does cover the gray roots, but it gives a strange tacky, stiff, sticky feeling to my hair. It also causes my hair to look dull and flat where it is applied.

The color is not good on me and I've tried all of them in my color range. The product is also hard to apply with this mascara tool, it gets tangled up in the hair.

I have used this product since it's introduction, and while I like the color and coverage, the newest applicator is almost impossible for me to use without getting color splattered on me and my counter, and on my hands. I also do not like the two-part way you need to put this on. First with the very small hard brush, then wait a while and use the other brushes to get rid of some of the stiffness. Please consider changing this!

I had trouble using the brush part of the applicator. My hair kept getting tangled. After washing, the color did not stay and there was a film on my hair.

I wasn't to thrilled about applying this to my dry hair and leaving it on without washing it out. I apparently thought it was just something to touch up the white areas but it would color it like the regular application for localized spots but I'd wash it afterwards. Not a fan.

When you don't have time or it's too soon to do your roots but you have some popping up, this is a great FAST way to cover them. But, you need to scrub your nails then every single time you think you may have touched your hair. This stuff made my manicure look awful. I must have touched my hair w/o realizing it and it turned the tips of my nails brown. ICK.

I must admit after finding all the other products so good I was terribly disappointed with this. It is nothing like my hair colour, like putting thick mascara in your hair, makes it dull, stiff and messy. A total waste of my money as I shan't use it again.
