Followed directions. Used product to color correct after highlights that were too brassy put in by a professional. I explained carefully the mahogany highlights that I wanted and asked for a toner.
Ended up paying almost $300 for a different professional to correct the mess.

The first time I applied this one, it shined and coloured the parts where I literally smacked the colour on my hair. But I had patches of hair that didn't take in the colour although I felt like I'd massaged and spread it over all of my hair. Because red colours don't stick very well, I guess, the difference between the tint and the original colour, no matter how close originally, was quite noticeable. I had to reapply and wash my hair again before going out in public.
I really did like the brightness and the shine once it was applied to the rest of my hair.
It did wash out fairly quickly, but that's to be expected.

This was a suggested product for me to purchase with my custom color and I used it according to the instructions. It really messed my hair color up. It deposited a really unattractive color very unevenly. I am so disappointed. I would never recommend this product. Now I’m trying to figure out how to get it out of my hair.

I do think it freshened the color a bit. However, every time I used it, my hair felt like straw afterwards -damaged - even though I used conditioner and a mask. My hair never feels like that usually, and I have very short hair so it doesn't even have time to accumulate damage... I used it a few times and ended up throwing the rest out.

Hair broken off and smell unbearable. This is for e salon colour

This is for the colour not the tint rinse. I used e salon, I lived tge colour and had no problems.
This time however was a different story.
The smell of Ammonia was unbearable and made my eyes stream.
I have just been to my hairdresser to get my hair trimmed as I am growing it.
She informed me that whatever I had coloured my hair with had caused it to break off, she showed me tge back and I could see this.
I always had long thick hair and want to grow it longer, but she had to cut 3 inches off, I am heartbroken. I am an ex hairdresser, so know how to apply colour, I also used high quality hair products, Olaplex, redken and heat protection on my hair when styling.
I can no longer have colour on my ends, and gave booked to have my roots done at my hairdressers.
The condition of my hair has been compromised because of e salon colours. I don't know what happened because when I used it in lockdown it was fine

The smell is so nice, but unfortunately, it hasn't helped to reduce the red brass from my medium brown hair once the hair colour starts fading. I've tried so many toning products and this one was promising, but my hair is stubborn and it just wasn't effective for me (even when leaving it on for 10 minutes).

I purchased this item hoping it would add some depth of colour and cover some grey. I think it’s too early to say as only used twice but it does colour my hair, on first use it was a bit copper/red tones and more brown on second use. I’m hoping for more brown as I use it more regularly!!

My natural hair was true auburn and now with gray roots it’s professionally colored auburn. I was hoping this product would just enhance the deeper red and make the hair shine. Unfortunately, the lighter sections of my hair picked up the magenta tones and now my hair appears to be highlighted with pink. I’ve washed it 2 more times but it’s quite resistant to the color safe shampoos I use. Hopefully it will wear out soon because I really don’t want to use a detox shampoo that strip out my desired color. Guess I should have gone with copper but I was worried about it being too orange.

it grabbed my hair and deposited the worst red tone--it looked so fake I had to try and remove the color with dish detergent. Luckily I was seen for a haircut yesterday and my stylist took pity on me and had a product available to remove the worst of it. I will never use it again. I feel like I should get my money back on this product. Terrible product!! And this was recommended!!!

I have lighter hair and this color is bright and intense, I just washed it through and rinsed immediately, didn’t wait 1-2 minutes. The color is a bright pinkish candy red shade which isn’t really what I was looking for, I shampooed with a clarifying shampoo and hot water right after and it faded to a better looking tint but I think this would be better for a darker blonde or light brown:

I am a natural redhead (light copper blonde) with some grays so I dye the grays to match. I used the tint rinse in copper color and it made my color very uneven and blotchy.

First be careful it is very runny. Secondly I honestly didn’t see a change in the toning the brass in the hair color but it did make the ends blonder.

I don’t know if maybe I got a faulty one but mine so so incredibly runny like water that I could barely hold it in my hands let alone put it evenly into my hair. Also because it went everywhere it stained my tub. Wish this product was thicker and useable. Also leaks red out of the tube everywhere.

Not a fan of this product. Once my hair has been dried, the colour is very patchy. Not sure how you can get this tint even after shampooing, I've also tried combing it through my hair but it's still patchy.

Finally had the chance to use this color tint. I was disappointed that my color wasnt what I wanted, so I was hopeful that the tint would be alright. I did not notice a difference except for the added frizz from using the product. I recommend Garnier color reviver for copper hair, now that stuff works great!

I am unsure about Tint Rinse, I cannot tell a difference in the look and feel of my hair having used it repeatedly.
I was looking for vibrancy, to keep the shine and minimize a dull look, but my hair is not there.
On the sustainability front:
I have read the email on sustainability and all that eSalon does. However given the severity of the damage we have done to mother earth, we can and should do more. A super easy action e-Salon can take:
-provide measuring tools so we can mix the right amount of color & developer if we don't want to use the whole container -- eg for half hair or 1/3 of hair
--eSalon can sell the measuring implements (yes, I can calculate, but coloring itself is difficult getting the right mix should be left to the professionals - just need a little help)
--damage to the environment: whenever I don't use the whole bottle, I have to throw away the unused mix - down it goes into the water/sewege system, also though the box and other contents maybe recyclable - it takes a LOT of resources that could be put to a better use to recycle, this is not good stewardship of mother earth
-----eSalon can charge more for an option that includes proper measuring implements --- I, like many, would gladly pay. It is becoming difficult to keep throwing away stuff that need not be throwing away. Thanks
PS - If I want to keep grey away, I would have to color the hairline EVERY TWO WEEKS - absolutely not sustainable; we know that there is no chemical that does not raise health concerns, but it is a matter of degree. We choose eSalon products b/c we believe the impact to hair and overall health is less than other products. The spray mist is not a viable option for me, and so I need a sustainable way to keep grey out - the measuring implements proposed above are a step in the right direction. Please help.

This was dreadful for me. My hair honestly turned orange, not a nice copper but bright horrible orange. And it took ages to wash out. I've still got a lot of the tube left, I won't use it again.

I was really looking forward to using this product, but I could tell instantly when I put it in my hair I made a mistake. So for the past week and a half I have had to use every moisturizing/conditioning product I own to get some of the softness back. I guess one thing I can say, it did take the brassy out, but at a cost.
